With to recent info on the 3DS, it was confirmed that it would have a web browser.
The question is: What do you expect/want from it? HTML5? Flash? Better rendering? Also, since the 3DS will have a browser, that means 3DSHub has a very good chance of becoming a reality. If so, what do you want from 3DSHub?
i expect it to be about as useful as the DSi Browser -- as in, okay in a pinch, but my computer will always be preferable.
and with regards to your second question, idk. DSiHub came and went so quickly i can't see a 3DS version sticking around for long either... :/

Well, at the very least, it SHOULD be improved, since it's newer tech. It obviously won't reach the usefullness of a computer, and probably won't reach the iTouch either. But I just hope it's not as slow and clunky as the DSi's.

Well, I assume that it will be made by Opera again, which means that they will do their best to follow all of the web standards. I have high expectations for the 3DS browser. I'm expecting a few features from the desktop version of Opera to appear on the 3DS. Here are the things I'm hoping to see:
Being able to scan QR codes and being sent straight to the website. (They are using QR codes for Miis, so I don't see why not.) Tabbed browsing. Opera Turbo (faster browsing thanks to image compression) Updated Flash support Possibly an RSS reader Automatically download browser updates Opera Link support (share files) Speed Dial (works like speed dial on your phone, except for websites) User interface customization Opera Unite support (synchronize your bookmarks from PC to 3DS.)

One of the main reasons DSiHub was shut down was because of the platform being dead, as the DSi wasn't a true successor to the DS, so it wasn't going to be around for a while in the first place. The 3DS is a successor, and therefore should stay around longer.

last i checked, the DSi wasn't dead yet and the 3DS is similar enough for DSiHub to have probably worked on it no problem, but ok

I'm hoping for good things, especially if its true you are able to use it from "Home" while having your game paused in case you want to look up info about a certain section of the game or something to that effect. But like most other comments in this thread I really don't see it as something that can compete with other mobile browsers.
I want Nintendo to ditch Opera and team up with Mozilla to make a Firefox-based browser for the 3DS. But that's probably not going to happen.
In all seriousness, I want flash. The 3DS probably has just enough power to use it. And HTML5 is a good idea too.
I'm pretty okay.

You guys know flash is a massive power hog right? It would drain the battery easy peasy.
If the browser is at least as good as the Wii one I'll be happy., anything more and wahey!
