I expect it will be as useful as the DSiBrowser, which isn't much. I don't expect video support or Flash, I expect to have to visit the mobile versions of any website I actually want to use, I expect it to take less time loading pages, but still 10x longer than the iPod Touch does. In short, I don't expect much of an improvement on this front, at all.
I hope they would ditch Opera and do Chrome or Firefox, but that's dreaming.
Fast and the ability to handle web standards. It should be able to do this relatively easy given its specs.
Other wants, it would be great if it supported 3D images of some kind. I don't know if there is a web standard for this (jps?) but it would be nice if Nintendo, and others with 3D display hardware, pushed this. I can imagine someone like facebook letting you upload 3D photos that look normal on a 2D screen but spring to life when you are using hardware capable of 3D.
Another thing which might or might not be part of the browser itself. Youtube has 3D videos. It would be a HUGE missed opportunity for both google and Nintendo if you couldn't watch these 3D videos on the 3DS in 3D. It would be an even bigger missed opportunity for Nintendo if they didn't let you take 3D videos and upload them to youtube directly from your 3DS in 3D so other people can watch said video on THEIR 3DS in 3D. If they did this even more people would have to have one.
I want Nintendo to ditch Opera and team up with Mozilla to make a Firefox-based browser for the 3DS. But that's probably not going to happen.
In all seriousness, I want flash. The 3DS probably has just enough power to use it. And HTML5 is a good idea too.
I want that too, Also Google Chrome would be epic too. I tried Opera for PC, it had no settings, plus there was no "un-installation". Opera makes a good Mobile browser and epic Social Networking site though. Also

It's mostly because of the owners (Me, TRC, Smalls, and bubby323) were involved in other things, and we couldn't work on the site, or just lost interest.
Socialite is coming soon, and that will be multi-platform (PC, 3DS, DSi, maybe even Wii.)
Anyway, on topic, I hope the 3DS browser will at least take advantage of the H.264 video codec to watch YouTube, and just if it is powerful enough, maybe flash (But an option to disable it, of course.)

Imagine being able to check out Nintendo Life or other gaming sites and having screenshots and videos of 3DS games actually be in 3D. Ability to turn off the flash , would be a blessing because when your not expecting to use it and your websurfing on Wii. You run out of flash memory quicker. Also would be cool to have the current flash for devices, like being able to play Facebook apps on Wii or 3DS.

K? I wasn't debating that at all, I was just saying the the 3DS should be powerful enough to run flash. All browsers should have the ability to turn off flash, even if it's just because it can be annoying as hell, and a security risk.
Faster Webpage and it better have flash so you can watch videos! I was so upset it did not have flash! Also I do hope it has the Hub thing. Also I hope you can copy photos like the iPod touch!
