I'm sure there will be a service agreement to save to the cloud. I still can't wait. It's weird but last night I wasn't using petit Computer but was thinking about code. Does that go away?

Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

As far as I know, you can buy more space for projects in the online server.

I don't know if there's other things you can buy.

Oh wow I'm going to really look into this DLC thing. If this has must own DLC I won't be too happy.

Will these old books on Basic programming help? This page has ton of info and source code.

@Morpheel: well I read the second book it was very informative. The basic seems almost identical to petit Computer. I'm goingto see if the bowling game works with petit Computer in a bit. All of the games were written for the atari 400 and 800 computer systems in basic. If it doesn't work maybe a little tweaking can get them working. Although graphically pretty ugly

Talking about Atari basic.... This DS game comes with a fully functional Atari 400 emulator, loaded with Basic (and only basic).

It's kinda fun, in case you want to try those codes with the "real" thing.

Oh haha that was quick. Hopefully you'll enjoy it.

I got it from amazon a few years ago, it was really cheap. Though it seems the price went up quite a bit since then.

@Morpheel: I picked up a loose cart of it for 5.99. The seller has a 7 day return so it just has to work. I have never seen a DS cart not work so I'm sure it's fine.

I've been watching a bunch of Tutorials from professor 3DS who has been using the Japanese version of the SmileBasic. Here he does a tour of the app which is very good. If you get a chance checkout his channel for tutorials on YouTube.

SmileBasic is now on the eShop. You can't buy it, but you can check the profile and add it to your wishlish.

Yes! I'm going to go add it to my wishlist right now! I don't even know why that makes a difference but yeah! Also, I don't have to go to work until 3:00 on Thursday, so I'll have about 2 1/2 hours to mess around with SmileBASIC!

I like makin' games!
Future Pinball games!
Petit Computer games!!
and SmileBASIC games!
Waiting for Kirby Air Ride 2. One day, it will come. One day...

Nice to see it in the eShop already, even if we can't purchase yet.
Confirms the price as $13 CAD - pretty lousy exchange rate for Canadians if it's supposed to be $10 USD, but I guess that's life.

I'm still curious about that prominent "Purchase Additional Features" button on the front page of the program, but otherwise very excited to see this about to arrive. (Edit: everything I've read suggests the "additional features" are just extra server space. I'm kind of hoping for something more?)

I sent a message too petitProfessor3D on YouTube. He sent me back quite a nice message. He says SmileBasic is so much nicer than the original petit Computer that people will have no troubles getting their games up and running.

Guys if I started a Blog with a chatroom just for SmileBasic would any of you use it? If there is enough interest to setup a member community I will work on it all day Wednesday. I just think a live chatroom would be the way to go to get help on the fly
