sigh I made an account on that website. I got the verification email and put in the code. Now I can't sign in.
Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

Actually, a number of regular Petit Computer users are already working on something like that. I'll let you know when they finish it so you can join their chatroom.
@Morpheel: I was able to Register to the site. After I join d the Chatroom it went totally haywire. I was able to chat and enter a few things. Then when I left the chat to tour the website it logged me out. Now I can't log back in. I keep getting error. So I will try back there later. I like what they are doing with that page.
Oh btw I got the Atari Volume 2 cartridge in the mail. It works fine. I played a bit of it last night. Man those games bring back some memories. I need to find something with all the activision games. I loved those games

So, anyone have any luck with any of the audio based data transfer programs? I've messed around with Petit Modem and P/SEND2 a little, with limited success. It's hard since all the text is in Japanese!
@Windy: I was only able to tinker around with the premade programs so far because I have been baking a cake for my dad's birthday. I'll be able to give a better look later.
@Morpheel: sounds good. But you need to fedex me a piece of that cake lol

"From Lumage (one of the site developers):
Hi, sorry you're having trouble with smilebasicsource.com. It's possible that you registered as we were resetting the database, and your account was wiped along with it. Please just re-register and things should be working better now. If the chat still doesn't work, you might have an outdated browser, and we've gotten reports that it does not work on Safari.
Sorry for the inconvenience."
I'm starting to think I may need to create my own smiletool.
The default one is really clunky and not very useful. Or at least the painting program.
There doesn't seem to be a way to get precise colors, or a way to extract a color from the image. Or something. Also, I have no idea of how to unload the font file once it's loaded.
If you make an improved SmileTOOL, replace the little numpad used to find specific numbered assets with a calculator. I know when working on games before I used a calculator a lot, so having one built into SmileTOOL would be really useful!
Oh, I just assumed you were just going to make a few tweaks to SmileTOOL. I guess I'll look into it later, abd see if I can add it. Having a quick access calculator would be perfect!
Okay, forgive the ignorance. I am not a programmer, nor have any desire to program my own games. But, the idea of playing user-created games appeals to me, especially if it's stuff you guys create. Do you think this will be worth purchasing for that? How in-depth are these games that users create?
