In the start of January, my parents would give me lunch money (About 3 dollars a day) and so what I would do is just keep the money and don't eat. After the following months, including half of April, I gained $150. I finally reached an agreement with my parents to 'back me up' on the other part of the money and tax. I traded in my DS Lite for $70 (Don't ask...Wal-Mart employees are stupid, lol); so that was $230. I basically bummed about $50 to buy the 3DS. No games yet, and I wouldn't expect me getting any until my birthday in July. I'LL HAVE TO WAIT A MONTH FOR OCARINA OF TIME
I did the same thing with the not eating thing. I got a lot of money that way. :3
Lol, easy way of scamming, right? ...Or just borrowing their money!
No 3DS games yet, but I'm searching for some friends! FC: 0688-5315-1722 Where the heck is Pikmin 3 and where did Animal Crossing 3DS go running away at?

Lol! I used to do that exact same thing when I was in high school! I ate lunch like 3 times total my whole 4 years there. It really is a great way to make extra cash. One of the few things I miss from that place...
I'm not too embarrassed to say that I'm 45 ..... that'll bring the average age up a wee bit.
Me too Victoria! I only got into DS games last year and I've basically just been collecting for a while, being too busy with work and life to play a whole lot. Needless to say I've got quite the backlog and a whole lot of catching up to do! Kind of nice to start off at the beginning of a new system with the 3DS though. I'm actually spending more time gaming than I used to now that I have it. To all you "youngsters" out there: Enjoy your time with shchool, games and social pursuits now....It's harder to fit it in later in life but still fun nonetheless
@#9.Victoria Weren't you flirting with a young guy's Mii on here at one point...? o.O
LoL I'm 22 by the way. I have a feeling that a lot of the older posters are going to be more interested in this particular topic than many of the younger ones. It is interesting though to see how many more mature people frequent this site.
Yeah, im 33 two kids and a girlfriend and dont think ive ever grown up. ...been spending a lot of time playing Samurai Warriors Chronicles usually on the way to and from work.

I mean $250 is a lot of money but it isn't THAT much. A little saving and most anyone could own it.
Heh....just wait until you move out and get your first place. You'll feel $250 then, believe me.
hell yeah ! im 29, got a full time job, a house and a car to pay, 4 kids under my charge. that 250 dollars represent some sacrifice for me. but so far so good, i really love my 3DS!
Average is 25.52, I threw out some of the data as it was clearly false.
Thanks for putting in the effort, but I would not consider this thread a sufficient data set to get an accurate representation of the average 3DS owner's age.
38 5 days ago. I've been saying the average age is up there. Look at the price and the fact that Christmas is still a ways away. It will come back down soon though.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
