I still believe asking $50 for Persona Q was pushing it. You don't see Nintendo asking $50 for Pokemon,
$50 is a reasonable price, arguments to the contrary have become invalid

This argument is invalid, given the place where that game is being sold at $58.

You post is invalid as it isn't the only store selling it for $50+ (FYI the first place is a large department store, intent on pricing things as low as they can, the second is EB games).

Yeah, about that. You're an Aussie and the industry hates you. Sorry, sucks for you, but point remains that Persona Q, SMT IV, and Break Record are relatively overpriced.
Incidentally, the $5 Being Canadian fee only seems to apply to $40 games? On Amazon.ca, Pokemon is $45 and Persona Q is $50.

Yep, and the average McDonald's worker in the States is lucky to make 7.50$ an hour as oppose to Australia which is what 16$ an hour so your point is also invalid.
I don't see why $50 is a problem. The games are of really high quality and always pack a lot of content. Every game I have from Atlus lasted me for more than 50 hours. It's great value for your money.

Yes we make more money however our stuff costs more, we aren't better off. Something people don't think of.

Your cost of living reflects you pay rate as does ours so I don't see the difference really. Just because I can get a gallon of milk say at 2.50$ doesn't mean it's any different if you pay 4.50$ since you probably make at least 1.5 times more money then me. What people don't realize at least here in the States is making more money at minimum wage doesn't actually make you more money when you begin to pay out more so raising it only gives you a temporary break from inflation.

If I was only ever able to have Monster Hunter and EO games in the future, I would be a happy man.
If milk is $2.50 where you live, I'm moving there. How much is a gallon of gas? Gotta research!

Right now it's at an all time low (at least for the last couple of years) at 2.39 up at my corner. My milk prices go from about 2.50 up to 3 but I also buy store brands and not the national brand which cost like 3.90.

The store brand costs $3.75 where I live. Other brands cost about $4.50. At least gas has dropped to $2.19, which is a whole dollar down from a couple months ago.

To true. I am paying almost $4 for Milk but luckily gas came down to $3. It was at $4.50 before.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

But you can import everything without any import duty. US System and Pay the US eshop prices.
That arrangement would suit me well. (Doing the same in the UK would end up costing more).

Tell ya one things: Persona Q was well worth the $50 imo..
Says the guy with a Persona avatar...
Keep in mind that great (and arguable much better) games like Zelda, Mario, Fire Emblem, etc all went for $40. Not to say Persona Q is bad, it's just absurd how much Atlus is tyring to get away with nowadays. I had a bad feeling this kind of stuff (along with BS DLC) would happenab when Sega bought Atlus. I don't want to be too doom and gloom because $10 more for games isn't the end of the world, but heck, this is the internet:
YOU RUINED ATLUS, SEGA!!!!!11(catface)(Heart wth and slash in the middle). SQUARE ENIX KILLED MY CHILDHOOD AND NOW YOU'RE MAKING ME ACT LIKE A CHILD ON THE INTERNET ABOUT ATLUS CHOICES I DON'T AGREE WITH!!!!(exclamation point X1,000,000)
OK, to be honest though this seems like a choice that could easily lead to EA/Cacpcom/Sqaure Enix nickel and diming, which was something I would have never expected from Atlus.
