The thread title says/asks it all:
How do you have your home screen set up?
I, for a long time, kept changing it until i had a genius idea:
Nintendo Entertainment System games
3D Classics
Default set-up, games I bought piled on top. No Folders. One-Block look. I will eventually clean up non-default stuff into folders although I have so few anyway.
@Red-Kinetic, your Home screen is so awesome and inventive!
I have it set so everything fits in one screen. I have 3 folders, VC, 3DSWare and Applications stuff I toss in that I don't use like AR Cards and stuff. I love that everything is in one page for me and I don't have to scroll left or right.
The icons on the left represent generic ones, not what mine looks like. Also for the folders I put a space before the words so it doesn't show a letter on the folder.

I can't add screenshots since 3DS is my camera but I'll describe my amazing 3DS menu organization:
Its organized into 2 rows. The first 8 icons are like this:
Game Card---eShop---Nintendo Video---Activity Log
Camera---SwapNote---StreetPass Plaza---System Settings
Those are my basic programs. Now come the folders. I have them set up with a folder on the bottom row with an "example" piece from that folder above it to help denote exactly what resides in each folder. They are like this:
-eShop 3DS Games---Marvel Pinball 3D on top
-Applications---Colors3D on top
-3D Classics---Kirby's Adventure on top
-Game Boy Advance---WarioWare on top
-Game Boy Color---Link's Awakening on top
-Game Boy---Kirby's Block Ball on top
-Sega GameGear---Sonic Triple Trouble on top
-NES---Punch-Out on top
-DSiWare---Tetris Party Love on top
-Videos---Night of the Living Carrots on top
After that comes 4 more folders that I didn't feel needed example pieces. They are organized in a square like so:
I have 3DS card/eShop/Settings down the left column. Then I have 10 folders labelled as the Konami code: I figured since we couldn't use more than one character per folder, there was no point in trying to label them logically.
@Red_Kinetic lol well the activity log, health and safty, nintendo 3ds sound, camera, ar games, and the mii maker have little to no interest to me, but i do put my videos and demos in there!
I hate you ambassadors. I want Zelda 2.
A-Apps, V-Videos, D-Demos, 3-3DSWare, C-3D Classics, i-DSiWare, N-NES Games, G-GameBoy Games, W-Game & Watch
I really wish I could put two or three letters on the cover of the folder.
I have mine set up to having four rows.
It starts with the game cartridge, then all the applications, then 3DS Download games, DSiWare, GBA, GBC, GB, NES, a demo folder, a trailer folder, A,bassador Certificate and last of all Health and Safety Information.
Within the sub-category of games I have them sorted roughly from favourite, same in the trailers folder and I have the demo folder sorted from oldest to newest.
I refuse to put my games into folders until my home screen is completely full, as I love having a screen full of icons.
Don't have a pick. But hopefully this will give you a good idea of how it looks.
