@TheItalianBaptist Definitely! It should work with any Bluetooth-enabled devices - I have the Japanese version and use the keyboard on my iPhone with no problems. It's a really nice piece of kit!
@hydeks Typing games can be awesome!! Typing of the Dead on Dreamcast is seriously fun and one of my favourite co-op games ever! It's really just another control method, not all games that use a keyboard are edutainment.
It's so great to see all the love for Air Ride! =D I thought it flew a bit under the radar when it came out and I know some people dismissed it for the simple control scheme, but it's absolutely brilliant. Still some of the most fun you can have on a 'Cube/Wii with friends!
@tvnewsguy Definitely, I liked it a lot more than poor Phil! =)
@TheDreamingHawk The only reason Epic Yarn isn't here is because I don't think I could express the extent of the joy and wonder it brings to the world through words alone. =) (Interpretive dance coming soon!)
Awesome!! Seeing the final list is making me want to have a Mario marathon! And oh man, to this day I can hum most of the stage music from Super Mario Land - seriously great tunes!
@NImH37 Totally agree with @Jumpman - me & my sister have sunk countless hours into this game! It's all about creating and if that's something you enjoy it's a blast! =)
@WiiLovePeace Good! If it looks like you'd enjoy it, you probably will - I'm having fun with it! =) Like I mentioned in the review, the controls are definitely something you get used to, I just thought they could have been better from the start.
@accc Exactly - this might be my own quirk, but I find it conceptually odd to control a human character (or anything besides a tank, really) with these stop-and-turn controls, especially from a top-down perspective. Since turning to trigger the dot switch clues (as you said, very important!) is usually performed under less duress than the time-restricted dot runs, I think it would have made more sense to make rotating in place a 'secondary' move on the shoulder buttons, and have the D-Pad just whip BOLT around the maze ala Pac-Man, Bomberman, etc.
It wouldn't have been an issue for me if drifting with the shoulder buttons was on point, but it felt a bit off - like you have to tap L or R before you actually come to the turn - so sometimes I felt like I was fighting with the controls more than with the level itself. Again, just my feeling, and your mileage may vary! =)
@iroxyorsox There's definitely fun to be had with this game, but I thought the technical issues really let it down, which is why I gave it an "average" score (5); I'm glad you picked up on the positives from the review =)
@Bobhobob Haha, fantastic! Wear it with pride!! =)
Also, seeing the Pro Controller picture reminds me how excited I am to play NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams with that smooth circle analog stick! I'm assuming/hoping it'll work with Classic Controller compatible Wii games?
@Haywired Oh man I had so much fun with Electroplankton! The one where you rearrange the leaves in the pond and the little guys slide down them; beautiful.
Wonderful read! Rhythm games have a special place in my heart: DDR, PaRappa, Space Channel 5, Osu! Tatake! Ouendan and Rhythm Thief, which gets my vote for the best 3DS game yet. I also actually had a great time playing Wii Music with my family!
@Skotski I loved A Wonderful Life too!! The SNES Harvest Moon was the first game I remember ever beating, so it's got a special place in my heart. I've always wanted to play the N64 one but it's super expensive these days!
I'm a Fully Grown Person who's really happy with this. All the cruelty, hate, and sexual harassment on Xbox Live and the like totally ruin online gaming on those platforms for me, and just make me sad. As always, keep it up & keep it classy Nintendo. =)
@Oddy Yup!! They're from the Aran Islands (Árann in Irish) off the west coast of Ireland and they're famous for really intricate knitwork! A great reference! =D
