As someone who plays my Switch in handheld mode almost 90% of the time, I'd be up for a Switch mini - take out the removable joycons and HD rumble and maybe add a second cartridge slot? Yes please
I don't understand why the Wii U eShop wasn't ported across as it was - it was (imo) a really good shop front with sensible layout and decent search functionality... I don't see why they needed to start again from scratch and offer less functionality!
I was kinda looking forward to this - I'll give it a pass for now, but if there's a chance it will get some updates I might give it a second chance later... but I was expecting none of the extra currency stuff - if it's going to be full of extra purchases I'm not going to bother!
It had it's moments - but a lack of proper management and Razer not giving a toss and simply using the software to shift it's own doomed hardware made sure the ouya never got the chance it deserved. And there are many good games - some indie titles that probably wouldn't have happened anywhere else made it to the ouya and were all the better for it! So as far as I'm concerned, it's a shame and I will miss it. But despite the hate it got, it actually launched and survived - something a great deal of other kickstarters haven't managed!
No reload heroes is a decent enough budget dual-stick shooter - multiplayer is good, but single player is a bit lacking One Strike is like a simplified (budget), pixel version of Bushido Blade and is pretty good fun Super Hero Fight Club is another decent/budget one screen brawler - again the multiplayer is pretty good, but the single player is lacking Apparently Not Not is a pretty good "one more time" infuriating reaction/puzzle game and was reviewed by IGC here: https://indiegamerchick.com/2019/04/20/not-not-a-brain-buster/
To be fair all of their games are aimed at (and seem to excel at) the budget/pocket money market and it's hard to fault them - none of them seem to be 'bad' and they're reasonably priced!
I've pre-ordered Akane (because it's a bargain at that price) and I might pick up Mana Spark & Blazing Beaks when it drops
Is the price for Akane right? The nintendo website says £4.49 (https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch-download-software/Akane-1553082.html#Overview)
Maybe Sega has a mad plan - if they publicly ruin Sonic then they can kill off the franchise for good and concentrate on reviving IPs that people actually want to see?
On a vaguely related note - in the video above, please could someone tell me which title is between Pokemon Quest & Final Fantasy XII? I'm just intrigued by the icon!
Has anybody found out when Retroflag are regarding the GPi case yet? As much as I'd love a proper game boy pocket, I think that would get more use from me!
While it's only a little thing, I do wish that nintendo would let me add games to my wishlist from the website - I browse a lot at my desk and can read up on games etc. but then I have to remember to do looking for it later when I get home... if I forget the chances of me coming back to a particular title are small

Re: Nintendo Switch Lite Officially Revealed, Launches This September
@DannyBoi it's the same battery, but with the smaller screen & removed bits you should get about an extra hour playtime (according to the official Nintendo comparison thingy)

Re: Nintendo Switch Lite Officially Revealed, Launches This September
@Jayenkai that's a bit harsh - so why not port Spike Dislike or even a "GameAWeek master compilation" to brighten it up?
Re: Splatoon And Animal Crossing iPhone Cases Now Available In The UK
@MS7000 too many brands, too many models... the struggle is real.
Re: Is This Our First Real Look At Nintendo Switch Mini?
@jeb_leeds I think the idea is they would work like the 3DS analogue pad
Re: Is This Our First Real Look At Nintendo Switch Mini?
@Fighter_Hayabusa exactly! Sometimes it just feels a bit 'off' to me and I'd love a solid, all-in-one console!
