I was hoping to save my 2000 points I got for christmas! So no movies announced yet. I was hoping they would get them immediately and put a few on the eshop for launch. Hopefuly when they are ready to bring on the movies, (im pretty sure they've implied it heavily before right?) they will be downloadable instead of on cards.

Does the 3D effect just look like there is depth into the screen or do things pop out too? Also, will the internet app be faster and more effecient? Will it be able to stream youtube videos?

I've fallen out of the pokemon craze. It seemed like too much of a good thing. every new instalment was like, "Wait... i think ive seen this somewhere before...". Hopefully B&W will re-energize the pokefan in me.

i was kinda exited to be able to listen to tunes on my dsi, but they need to be in AAC format.
So i looked it up and aparently i needed to buy an AAC music converter! Hopefuly the 3DS can just play normal formatting of music.
Wonder what all the different pre installed channels are.

@1 i think it means extra things, not like a kart in mariokart or the next level in super mario bros. For example extra Shopping points at Tom Nooks shop, or extra bells. Not a new house. This should work great as long as it isn't abused in stupid ways. Such as needing to walk 5 miles to unlock a new mariokart track. As long as the rewards aren't something you couldn't get without walking, this should be great. It sould be a bonus if you can do the walking. not a punishment if you can't or don't.

that battery life seems pretty good considering. i am worried though, if the charger is supposed to be a dock, than can it be charged while playing? I charge while playing with my dsi all the time. road trips and plane rides might need the nifty little battery powered portable charger though that was in the lineup of 3DS accessories.

SSFIV, mask of miracle, Kid icarus uprising looks very promising, and of course mariokart. Of course the line up of downloadable 3DS VC games and movies will rob me of cash too. BUT!!! I want to wait until there are reviews for all of them to see which i should buy first and which i should wait for used. (although, i doubt the reviews for those would be under 8/10)

I don't see this as being a problem at all. Unless of course your using the motion/gyrosensors. They might want you to turn 3D off for that when using it in a game but i doubt i would cause that much of a problem depending on what kind of motion. I geuss we will just have to wait and see.

...Wow. Do just feel the need to move your head and system around all the time to make it feel like your in an actual mariokart or spaceship... Portable games are meant to be portable! Not to be played while rolling down the stairs, or jumping on a trampoline! The convienince is in playing them somewhere that you don't have access to a TV. i.e. a car ride (not too bumpy), or at a family reunion you dont want to be at. Alls you need to do is keep your head behind the screen, And keep the screen in front of your head.

this may be a contender for best game on the 3DS graphics wise. Pretty impressive. Although graphics arent everything, so im waiting for reviews.

he could mean he is hoping to give the next game to the 3DS' competition, but most likely he means its coming our way. Probly not until 2012ish anyway unless its a 3D port of an already released one.

Devs will only use a full 8GB for huge sellers if at all. i think 3 GB is probably a reasonable estimate for most games. Oh yeah, and posibly console ports.

i would get the patches if i had kirbys epic yarn. im hoping to get it for cristmas so if i do ill get some to stick on my wii.

i honestly think both brawl and melee are masterpieces in their own ways. te only thing he said that surprised or worried me was "even if I ever had a chance at another one" does this mean the future for super smash bros. may be the doomed to discontinuement!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Really though, I have owned brawl for about three and a half years now, and i still play it regularly and still find new stratigies and master new characters in new ways. As long as the series can be kept deep enough to keep people coming back like that, I think i dont mind an easy setting. as long as it can be turned up a notch if i dont want to fight pushovers. I think brawl did it right with CPUs levels 1-9 and SSE and challenges easy-normal-hard-very hard-intense. keep that formula, change all the challenges, characters (but keep what they have too, just add new ones), SSE stages, stages, items, and settings. Throuw in some fresh new ideas and stuff and i will love a sequel. like mario galaxy-mario galaxy 2. Don't mess with the winning formula. ADD A BIT OF STUFF TO IT!

awwwwww. ive seen this get a lot of (seemingly) rightful hype. The few problems dissapoint me as i was hoping and expecting a 9. Sadly i wont get this due to all the other better games released at the same time. Maybe in a while when it shows up for $30 used. Although i never seem to find camera problems when reviewers do...

Hopefuly this isnt to much of a problem, and retro studios continues to make amazing games for Nintendo!

um. i think cold war means that there was no open announced fighting...

hopefuly they put some demos in gamestops. with a big seller like mariokart as the demo.

really good. but the levels could be a bit better.
still great though. but i could go on forever with ths type of gameplay.
i would buy super scribblenauts2 with the exact same controls and everything but just redesigned levels.

well, if devs have to pay way more money to make each game they will make higher quality games as to not waste their money. i highly doubt that the price will be higher than $45. why is everyone freaking out about the 3ds price? to me it looks like the tech definately would back up any price less than $320. the games are the same way. if we see the 3ds pushed to its limit (which far surpasses the ds' limit that rarely was met), why cry about paying just a few extra bucks for that much more entertainment?

i heard nintendo already recently got a partenership with Dreamworks (movie maker). But i hope they have more than just Dreamworks movies.

whats my best bet for getting this game now? apparently its not being published anymore... ive seen in online for like $80 but would like to pay less. anyone know a good way to find a copy? used would be nice.

this is good. if super mario land is downloadable that means that other good games will be released to. not just the small memory crappy ones.

hopefully this does better than move... ive seen that the tech is good but all the games so far are kinda crappy. T_T

i think even though its like comapring apples to (insert something better than apples here), that the prime target of nintendos marketing are the kids who get easily conned into wanting whatevers shiny, and whatever has free stuff (thats crap), than looking into getting substantial entertainment with something that can last awile. Those little kids won't get a ds for christmas because they will ask for an ipod. they won't even care about the 3ds or psp or any other option, because everyone else has some form of itouch/phone. so if everyone else wants/has it why shouldn't they? but they don't need the phone, don't listen to much music, and don't do facebook, or need to use some form of connection to the world wherever they go.

i heard it was a little low on content... but with a 10/10 how can i resist buying it.

just bought it. in the first five miunites i was riding my flying spikey pink rhenocerous while dodging exploding puppys. whats not to love?

now all we need is more games that need it.

i wish it had a bit more content but it has good replay value and its a good challenge. But sadly my L and R buttons are broken.

they havent even made any adds for it yet!!! of course more people will hear when they make demos, and ads, and when it comes to the states the price will probly go down like $50. and anyway the systems technology will back it up even if it is 300 bucks.

monster hunter tri style multiplayer quests on wi-fi would have been nice but i still give this game a 9. the amount of content is just amazing and its really fun too.
