Re: Fact Sheet: Wii U - 1080p HD confirmed, No BluRay

Graphics =/= fun games. Nintendo can get as high tech as they want, and thats awesome. But I'm more concerned about creative, fun, and awesome games. What I REALLY want is better online features in games and fancy ways to use this new controler. I buy from Nintendo because I want games I feel I can't get from Sony or Microsoft. (but they do need to catch up online lol) & I typed all this on my 3DS!

Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Try to Recapture 'Hardcore' Gamers?

@komicturtle92 (post 77)
YES!
Un-fortunately I have a couple friends that think this way.
I'm in the process of opening their minds up to the possibilities. I love Halo as much as the next guy, but that doesn't make Nintendo bad. It just makes them different. People spend too much time discriminating against people/things/ideas that are different. Just respect everything for its differences and we'll be good.
I would enjoy a PS3 or 360, but i would rather have a Wii because of the games that i can't play on PS3/360. And that goes both ways, but i don't feel like I'm missing out on anything as a Wii owner.
Now if Nintendo just makes a super console that is newly crazy powerful and awesome like the 360 was at the time (and still kinda is now), then we can have the best of both. "technically superior" and all the great stuff nintendo can give us.

Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Have Made the 3DS Download-only?

triforceofcourage

People witout wi-fi are unable to use it...
I think that with dwnloadable games, you can't really make them as high queality because of the space limit. Buying all the memory needed to store enough games would count for the money saved by donloading. Cartrages work well for me, and I like the ability to share games with friends. Gamestop wouldn't be happy with downloadable only games... And when I'm tired of a game and really don't want it anymore I can trade it back to gamestop and It'll help pay for another game. Therefore, cost isn't really better. (for me anyways)
You would still need SD cards to store all your games, so essentially you could be carrying carts anyways.
We've all seen the (80%) shovelware pilled into dsiware, so why make those the only games we can buy?

What Nintendo has going is good. Primarily carts, but downloadable games too. I think it should stay the way it is.

Re: Talking Point: How 3DS Can Thrive at E3

I'm all for the remakes and continuations of great games, but it's definately true. There needs to be a new IP, on that can truely be called a must have game. Something that can bring the system the entertainment it deserves. Something we've never ever seen before.

btw, @komicturtle YES! The kirby series should and totaly could make that jump. (but we still need something entirely new.)

I peronally will simply say:
"Read WariosWoods's post"
His post is exactly what I would have said if he didn't. It just happens to be my favorite game of all time. And yes I've played OoT. I think the controls are worse than TP, and the dungeons didn't keep me nearly as enticed to keep looking through.
But hey, everyones opinions are diferent. For example, I love broccoli.

Re: New Elements Planned for Mario Kart on the 3DS

Things I want:
Just karts. NO BIKES
A 3rd lap Blue shell disabler
More Items
All karts available for all characters
More new tracks than old
More new karts than old
BETTER BALLOON BATTLES this is a minigame that can be very fun If Nintendo pulls it off right. In my opinion it was better in ds than wii, but niether were perfect.
Another minigame (on top of Vs., Time trials, Balloon battles, and coin battles, and multiplayer.)
And finaly, for Nintendo to release it already!

Re: Nintendo Expected 3DS Sales to be Higher Than They Are

triforceofcourage

@32 So true... So true...
People don't know what it can do. Only 1/3rd of my friends even know it exists. And all of them think it's just a ds in 3D so they don't want to buy it. They don't understand all the new features and capabilities. Because Nintendo should have been getting word around better. Once my friends go to gamestop to buy something for their wii/ds/360 and see the 3DS on display, I can see them getting the whole "features > Wii" thing. It's up to us to preach to the un-notified!

Re: Flipnote Memo Coming to 3DS eShop

triforceofcourage

Haha! I get it, "draw our own conclusions"
I loved flipnote studio. All I ask for in the sequel is to be able to still view the old hatena, but having it be seperate from the new one. As well as new colors(including color pictures), and the two layers playing into the 3D. Also (but this might be a bit much to ask for) I want Hatena to take down all:
Music Videos
JB hater flips
JB lover flips
Star beggar flips
Star contest flips
Dsi(3DS) point contests (scams of course)
And finally, KILL THE COPYCATS!!!!

Re: Another Zelda Remake for 3DS?

triforceofcourage

Not a full game please. I'd be happy to buy this from the VC for like $5-$10, but you're already re-releasing OoT! How about some fresh Zelda? Just put all the oldies with 3D on the VC. But don't forget about the future of Zelda!

Re: Talking Point: StreetPass - Is Silent Communication the Future?

triforceofcourage

I've only tagged my sister 3 times.
Haven't done a lot of walking around in majorly public places though. I think I'll get a few when i take a trip to Boston in May.
It's still early in the 3DS' life, so once more games using it come out (hopefully) there will be more purchased consoles and more incentive to take it with you. I'm hopeing for Ghost data trades in Mariokart3DS, and Item trades in Animal crossing. I also think that friend codes should be exchanged during streetpass. As that would be a good way to start up some online matches for SSFIV and more upcoming games. Hopefully we see some better friend code messageing system come about soon. As well as more space, and streetpass shares.

Hear our requests Nintendo! A system update with added interaction feature would be greatly appreciated!

Re: Rumour: Wii 2 to Cost $350, Support 3DTVs, Out in October

triforceofcourage

Well, I don't believe this.
The whole screen on the controler is starting to scare me though. It doesn't seem to offer enough possiblities to outwiegh the price. I hope these are all just random rumors. Shiggy seemed pretty uptight about it, which implies that nothing true has come out yet. Oh well, whatever they plan to do I'm sure it will blow all of our minds. (In a good way)

Re: Talking Point: What You Want in a New Nintendo Home Console

triforceofcourage

@10Waveboy
This is pretty much my wishlist also, but I would like a much bigger focus on better online play from nintendo. There are a lot of nintendo games that would have benifited from an imporved online system. Of course as long as it gets some kind of innovation I'll buy it. Because i know that the best games will be there, even if the graphics or something aren't the best.
Thats why i buy nintendo. The psp is way better than the ds from a technical standpoint, but the only games in the entire psp library i would want to buy are the monster hunter titles. Just like wii vs ps3 vs 360. The only quality games you find on those systems are FPS or racers (with the exeption of a fighting game now and then). While the wii can't pull of realistic racers to well, I love mariokart. There aren't many FPS' but more than enough for those who play other games too. Sooooo.... Keep the great games rolling and I'll be getting the wii2.
