@BulkSlash The demo runs smooth as butter on PS5, I haven't tried the new Steam demo but my computer sucks so I won't be able to get a good tell for how it runs. But I recommend trying the updated demo! I've heard they've addressed the issues there too, and Steam Deck works now as well
It's dead last before previous gen consoles and freaking Mac ,which is notorious for having very few, even Indie developers, that make games that work on it. Let alone SPECIFICALLY. Mac is usually an afterthought, cause a lot of Mac users aren't gamers first and foremost.
Oh, and VR/Web Browser developers are sparse as hell. Being last in modern consoles, and barely beating out under-developed platforms kinda sucks
@Munchlax here's an entire list of 3DS hacks that Nintendo patched on their firmware end. They didn't patch the games themselves, just the routes they took to access the sysdata. https://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/List_of_3DS_exploits. they even patched browserhax as recently as 2020
@HeadPirate Sorry you have to deal with this idiocy... I try to not read the comments sections at all, or avoid responding to people who are obviously ether children or too narrow minded to even bother to have a legit adult conversation.
Wow those sold out quick, and I was hesitant of getting them because of the quality... oh well (most of the items I bought are of questionable quality. The Arceus cable tie, the Team Galactic phone ring, the Mario 3D World keychain...)
@GrailUK That just goes to show that game development is massively flawed these days, cause portability apparently isn't as important as making a game powerful/look good. Major studios will always go that route, probably indefinitely.
This is so frustrating for two reasons: 1. Nintendo has never cared about competing with other consoles since GC. They're more interested in gimmicks than power. 2. Game developers will ALWAYS choose power over gimmicks (such as HD rumble, which is usually only done if your game is Switch exclusive)
@Perryg92 At least they're being good at keeping an eye on community feedback and monitoring bugs! I'm sure another patch for Switch will come out soon
All I have to say about this is that he's kinda wrong in not at least admitting that there are some RPG elements in Frontiers. What else would you call an EXP/Skill Tree system?? Yes it's first and foremost focused on action, but not admitting there's any RPG influence is particularly misleading/incorrect hahah.
P.S. I'm not hating, just being a nerd who has to call out some BS when I see it.
P.P.S. Please stop acting like children, it's not cool or edgy to hate on things so hard, it's immature and cringey (in a bad way)
edit: P.P.P.S. Save your hardcore criticisms for when the game actually launches and gets reviews. Thank you.
@Arcamenel @Link-Hero You should check out Avatar Studios! The original creators Brian and Michael are spearheading all-new animated series and movies set in the Avatar universe, the first of which is a movie following the Gaang after the events of A:TLA. This was announced after they dropped from the Netflix production
@peterandom $7.99 for 1000 showbucks, the pass is 950 but you have the opportunity to save up enough to afford the next one as long as you don't use them on cosmetics
@jorel262 You'd be surprised! It's not uncommon for games to drop announcements at Gamescom or The Game Awards and releasing the same year or early the next. It's possible they wanted to keep it a secret until they were ready to go gold, but tht doesn't change the fact that they wouldn't be giving it enough time for promo
@JokerCK Bro it's literally an opinion. That's not clickbait you absolute faff. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and just because it's in an article doesn't mean it's fact?? Everyone has been overusing the world "clickbait" as a catch-all and it's exhausting
This is giving me major Kingdoms Hearts vibes, just for the fact that each enemy type has a different way to take them down. I know that's not the only game that uses rank-style enemies w/ abilities and weaknesses, but KH was the first to come to mind! Heartless, Nobodies and Unversed
I've been following this since the beginning about 2 years ago. You'd be surprised about how far this game has come in those 2 years. The visuals alone look freaking AMAZING compared to when they started. I promise y'all it will be a fun time, at least if you're into these style racing games...
Oh yeah, if you have an opinion that isn't positive, please keep it out of the comment section.
It looks like one of those Tee Fury or ShirtPunch graphic tees where it's literally just "x pop culture thing mixed with y pop culture thing" crossover shirts. Your brain goes "oh cool two of my favorite things together!" but when it comes down to it sometimes it feels a bit... vapid
@Pandy-the-Panda Like, how early are we talking? I've heard Alpha thrown around but this seems way earlier than just Alpha. This looks like a proof-of-concept idea if I'm being real honest...
Nobody else thinking Oracle games Toon Link style? That's at least what I was getting at. If this is a "riddler" type of hint (considering it's legit, we'll see later), I'm assuming they're using different things to give you a clue. (Red and Blue ((Oracle of Ages/Seasons)), Toon Link, making a choice, etc.)
@HammerGalladeBro I've been hoping and praying that CarnEvil would one day receive a port to some system and I've yet to see that dream realized in any way. Back in 2011-12 @ a local arcade, my sister successfully beat CarnEvil all the way through with JUST enough money to afford continues
Honestly a bit excited for this announcement, they've done an amazing job at following the Sonic lore bible and making things accurate to their best attempt. I'm definitely hoping the next one is completely off planet, or at least has less focus on humans. More on G.U.N., Eggman creating Shadow, maybe Amy, Rouge or Big even ✌️(okay yeah big expectations)
