@HotGoomba No I don't think grown adults should be bummed out for paying $20 a year ago and the game eventually going free 2 play. They added it to new platforms, made it cross play and now you can play it on the go (people often forget 5g hotspot can be activated on most phones)
The problem with modding current titles that don't have official provided tools and is not a PC released title promotes more piracy because people are the Mods and either want to mod games themselves or play the mods. This is why Nintendo will and should go after Nintendo Switch game modders with their full legal force
@Duffman92 I think that modding older games, or PC games that legally allow you to mod them is fine. But modding a modern still sold in stores game like Mario Odyssey, in which you have to obtain illegally on your PC to even mod it is wrong
@Duffman92 Format shifting would constitute taking a physical cartridge and making a digital copy of it. I think if the modding community took the time they spend on modifying stolen content and sat down with those skills and creativity they could make their own independent games.
@Ventilator Fall Guys has a personality, Roller Champions doesn't. The visual appeal and gameplay of Fall Guys is suited for the Switch. Roller Champions interested players will play it on a better system
@Duffman92 "Can I download a Nintendo ROM from the internet if I already own the authentic game?
It is illegal to download a Nintendo ROM from the internet whether or not you own an authentic copy of that game.
Although Australian copyright law now allows limited 'format shifting' of certain copyright material for private and domestic use, this right does not allow the copying of video games to a different format.
Also, the limited right which the Copyright Act gives to make backup copies of computer programs does not apply to Nintendo video games."
@Pandy-the-Panda Sonic Colors when ported to the Switch (a generation newer machine) ran like hot trash. Generations was the closest to fun I've had with a Sonic game in over a decade. Mania is the only good game and it wasn't made by Sonic Team. Unleashed? Really?
@Chrisje4 It's still their IP, they only way you can play this mod to to obtain an illegal ROM, and they have a lot more money and lawyers than Crafty. So they can and will take him to court if he doesn't immediately take it down. Also the song he used in the trailer is definitely copyrighted
@Pandy-the-Panda Then you were lucky but Sonic Team has struggled very much with making a modern Sonic game that isn't plauged with issues and trying to ignore their failures will not help them get better
@Pandy-the-Panda You seem like a young kid who loves Sonic or sadly an adult who loves Sonic but either way you need to see the faults in recent Sonic games, you need to see the faults in what has been shown in Sonic Frontiers and demand that Sonic Team actually get their act together and produce a polished, fun title.
@Pandy-the-Panda You are in the minority with your thoughts about Sonic Forces. As it was filled with bugs, had weird boring gameplay and limped to the finish line. I only paid $20 a month after release and still felt like I overpaid. It's sitting at a 57 on metacritic with a user score in the 60s
@blindsquarel I don't need to defend Strikers because I and millions of others have purchased it and are enjoying it. Sorry but the loud complainers online are the minority and I'm glad Nintendo doesn't listen or feed into your small minded thinking
@blindsquarel Hard to call Smash Bros Ultimate a fighting game when each character has a vastly limited move set compared to an actual fighting game like Mortal Kombat XI
@boxyguy Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is a bad example. It's a Wii U re-release with it's DLC and improvements. But some of us bought the game game and the paid DLC on the Wii U then we had to buy it again on the Switch for another $60. Mario Strikers Battle League has only charged any of us once and will have free DLC
@blindsquarel It's finished. You can play an entire game of soccer on or offline. It has multiple cups to play through, gear system, League system, online ranked system. And they are going to include ten more characters for free.
@Edelkart Breath of the Wild had a season pass, also despite you not liking Golf or Tennis they are both one of the top selling games of their respective series.
@mikegamer No one is worshipping any corporation but I like you live by a set of laws and morals. Stealing IPs, and other content is illegal and immoral
@BoilerBroJoe Prison has to be a form of punishment for non-violent offenders because that are given multiple warnings to stop their illegal ways and they thumb their nose at companies like Nintendo. If we don't punish them then no IP is safe and if becomes chaotic
@Arkay But they downvoted it and cried really hard on every forum there is, made tons of crybaby YouTube analytical videos. Seems like the masses enjoy fun over belly aching and living in the past lol
@Yosher Cheats are dumb and who cares about that. Again about the character count, the sidekicks weren't full characters only the captains could do super moves, now all ten characters can do super moves and can be upgraded with gear (the gear system is new). Also with the two previous games their character list was permanent meaning no additional characters could be added. I have 320+ games so I am not worried about getting my fun out of the game and revisiting it with friends and family when new stuff is introduced but the game is perfectly fine, and I have no idea what the hell a career mode would look like in a Mario soccer game lol
@Yosher I will correct myself in that Strikers on Wii did have Online multiplayer but the GameCube Strikers obviously didn't. Also the game is complete, you can completely play it and there nothing fundamentally missing. Your example of a car being sold to you missing wheels and a door isn't correct. Because the car would not be able to work as intended. A better example is buying a fully fictional Tesla and getting free updates where you can update your car to let you play games or auto drive. The main bulk of the cost of the game is there, functional and fun and they are, for free, adding additional characters
@SilverM My thoughts exactly, the previous Mario Strikers on the Wii had 13 characters, but that was it. This one starts with ten and it's rumored to gain another 10 through free DLC. I have been having fun playing it with my friends online, and my step Daughter on the couch, she (is 9 yrs old) and clutched us the win in a cup! It was so funny and exciting and one of my more recent favorite gaming moments.
@ecco6t9 Microsoft if they remaster Banjo or make a new entry should give the project to Playtonic, not Rare. Many of the Rare staff that worked on the originals left Rare and made Playtonic
Goldeneye aged like a glass of milk. The gameplay doesn't hold up and everyone excited about a remaster needs to seriously find a new game to obsess about

Yes but can you play it on the PS4 while taking a *****?
Re: Fall Guys Is Now Live And Playable On Switch
@Fizza
That's because they own the game, and it's cross platform. So that makes sense
Re: Fall Guys Is Now Live And Playable On Switch
@HotGoomba
Do you say this everytime a game goes on GamePass or PlayStation gives it away monthly? Early adopters always have to pay the most to play

Ubisoft ignore that request. Please keep your subpar games off the Switch thanks

Fall Guys comes out the same day and sadly this game will be forgotten because of that
