Re: Review: WWE 2K Battlegrounds - A Disappointingly Poor Wrestlefest

Playing devil's advocate here. I bought it and Mario on the same day and I have played this more than Mario tbh. It may be a mess but it is a fun mess. The huge points buy in for a character feels more rewarding when you finally get that one character you really want. I think that the price will drop very fast due to everyone bashing it so bad. The stage takedowns are awesome. The crunch of actually connecting a move is very satisfying that the other wwe 2k games just don't have. I am having a blast with it especially with my son. The handheld mode isn't as bad as they make it out to be. If i was reviewing it i would give it a 7.5 but it would be an 8 without the microtransactions. If you are really interested in the game wait for it to go on sale. It really doesn't deserve a 4.

What no 2K games on the list? Mostly I am playing Minecraft Dungeons. I don't know why people say this is for kids it is hard as crap on the last level. I have completely died like 20 times and i have good items and armor.
I picked up Borderlands and played it for about 3 hours. It looks really nice and plays so smoothly. It is truly a good port for the switch.
Also I am doing my daily stuff in Animal Crossing because it takes my mind off of bad stuff and makes me happy.
And of course Dark Souls Remaster PVP when I get frustrated or really bored.

I have been playing ACNH like crazy. Makin' them bells to pay off stuff. When i am not crossing animals I have been playing a little Dragon Quest XI. It is fun but very slow sometimes. I found a hockey game called Super Blood Hockey that has been holding my attention for the most part. A little Snack World very fun and funny if you havent played it. And as always PvP in Dark Souls Remaster when I get super bored.
Keep Gaming!

I have been having a lot of fun with Snack World. Having a hard time getting into pokemon so i think that i will set that down for a while. Played a little bit of the new Doom. I found this runner that is Crayon Shin Chan that is pretty good. I started Star Ocean because I loved that on the Psp. And as always I have been playing Dark Souls remaster for some good ol home fashion PVP. Giant dad all the way.

I will be picking up Witcher as soon as my check goes through. Pretty excited about that. Am I the only one that really has no interest in Luigi's Mansion. I really didn't like the first two so I doubt I will like this one. Also I am pretty sure I am the only person on the planet playing and enjoying Agony. Other than that some Castle Crashers(I just got to the Alien Homonid part) Tons of fun. And as per usual I am doing PvP in Dark Souls.

So I have been playing Castle Crashers for the most part. Played a little bit of Outlast and Layers of Fear to get in the spooky mood. Also to get in the spoopy mood played a little Castlevania collection and ROTN. Gonna pick up Witcher 3 this week when I get paid. And as always I am playing Dark Souls Remaster as much as possible. Made a new character.

So I got FE and absolutely hated it. I have really enjoyed Blasphemous so far. It is so pretty and challenging. My most played game for the week is Torchlight 2. I can't put it down. Everytime I do I end up just picking it back up. Almost as fun as D3. And of course my old go to Dark Souls Remaster. I am addicted to the pvp in that game. A mario game has to go in there so I guess I have played Mario Maker 2 a lot. That's all until next week. Have a good one.

So I have been saving my money to get a PS4 for a while. I finally was able to order one with a couple of exclusives that I really wanted to play. Hooked it up when it got here. Haven't played it once.
I keep going back to the Switch for my gaming sessions.
These are the games I have been playing.
1. Dark Souls Remaster (Having a hard time saving Solaire)
2. Diablo 3
3. Fitness Boxing (i have actually been losing weight because of this)
4. Dead Cells (i can't get past the second boss)
5. SSBU
6. New Super Mario Wii U
7. Timber man VS with the kids
8. FFVII (it holds up pretty good)

I hope to play Bloodborne soon but it seems easier just to pick up the switch and play. It is a pain in the butt to install games on the PS4 and by the time I install them I am already playing something else on the Switch

Still on Dark Souls (I can't stop replaying this game) The new season of Diablo 3 is starting so I might get on that. Smash is getting old as a go to when other games annoy me. I might replay BOTW again. But over all other games I am playing Travis Strikes Back. The reviewers say that it is repetitive but I find it relaxing. All I have to do is beat up bugs and play minigames. I think that people are missing the point of the game.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 12th)

I just beat Smough and Ornstein on Dark Souls (with a little help from my fellow Nintendo players) I am getting tired of Smash so I don't think I will be playing that this weekend. I picked up Mario U yesterday and have been playing it (it is harder than I thought it would be but still fun) Maybe a little Sinner or Salt & Sanctuary ( i got the Special ed physical version for Christmas) I would play Red Dead Redemption 2 but every time I play it makes me super depressed.

Re: Soapbox: Nintendo's Excuses Regarding Cloud Saves Aren't Good Enough

starspawn85

Why do people keep comparing it to ps or xbox. Those are 60 per/year services. You are paying $20 for a full year of service with extras. Everyone is complaining about the cloud saves that we didn't even know about until recently. The main point of the online service is to be able to play with your friends.
And for the people complaining about the app, stop. They gave you a way to talk to your friends. We didn't have that in forever.
Stop acting like spoiled kids.
