Re: Get Ready for KINECTaku!

lol... Thanks guys! Not like I can afford one right now, but it'll be great to keep track of the games I'll purchase when I win a lottery... doesn't have to be a big one, I'll be happy with oh, a couple thousand or so.

Zach, I can relate. My dad was THIS close to selling our SNES, until I caught wind of his plans and went into the crying/begging/hunger strike mode till I was assured my games weren't going anywhere. Kids today have no idea...

TTYD was my favourite, but one in 3D will be... I wanna say "epic", but that word was kinda overused this E3, so I'll say... good.

Re: E3 2010: First Impressions: Kirby's Epic Yarn

I suppose shape-shifting makes up for not being able to absorb enemies' abilites, but I have to admit I'm a tiny bit disappointed about that. They could have done it so that the enemies' abilities get "woven into Kirby's threads" or something. I don't know, maybe that's why I'm not a game developer

Re: E3 2010: Miyamoto Unexcitedly Scopes Out Xbox Kinect

This would have been fantastic if it came out before the Wii. However, I've already got my wii fit, my wii sports, and my wii party games. To me, I'm not going to pay $450 for an Xbox and Kinect just to do the same thing all over again without a remote in my hand. Just not enough difference.

Okamiden!!! And de Blob: Underground, but for the Wii. Now that they have a jumping button and possible co-op play, that's my next highly anticipated game... almost as much as SMG2.

Re: Review: Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii)

Fantastic, that review was spot on. I can't believe I just spent half my holiday monday glued to the wii. I even had my husband make me dinner and bring me water. He had just as much fun being "player 2"!

Re: Complete Your Living Room: My Fireplace Stoking up WiiWare

Actually, if I didn't already have the "Fireplace Channel" on cable, I would seriously consider this. I had my tv set to the fireplace channel during the whole Christmas holidays, and it also played Christmas carols. It was the perfect background to many a Christmas party. But for the other 50 weeks of the year? Hmm...

Re: Review: Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (GameCube)

Definately one of my most favourite games... Yes, the battle systems were complex, but the game was long enough that you had time to learn each aspect of battle (badges, flower points, heart points, audience help/hinder, timing, partner abilities, etc.) By the end of the game, you really feel like you've developed some amazing skills. REALLY close tie between this and super paper mario.
