Capcom is making a big noise about Okamiden, its DS-bound sequel to well-regarded escapade Okami, and with good reason. These new screenshots and fresh trailer from the Tokyo Game Show show the game looks set to maintain the quality level set by the original.
Familiar characters Susano, Kushi and more return in the video, as well as a wealth of new bosses and helpful spirits, alongside the rarely-seen PEGI rating of 6.
Okamiden is set for a worldwide release in 2011.

Amazing.
Looking forward to this. I'm playing through the first one right now. There's... so much to do in it!
Ack, just release it already!!
Wow. Just wow. This had fallen a little under my radar lately, but that trailer has rocketed it back up to the top of my most-wanted list. It's especially nice to see that the overworld looks to be keeping the openness and freedom that made just running around sprouting flowers so much fun in the original
Looks like they solved that little issue with "pausing" the game with the Brush thing, coolz, lol.
Looks really nice. I wish we could have seen an Okami game built for the Wii from the ground up though!
This looks incredible!
Already played it!!!! At Comic-Con
I hate it when they spoil boss battles and puzzles in trailers like this. This is what happened when I watched too much media on Spirit Tracks.
this is far too much cuteness for one man to handle
I cant stand the ugly art style i mean is that a girl or a perverted boy. And it looks so boring. Its a skip for me.
looks great
Looks awesome, can't wait till march 2011
This looks absolutely amazing for a DS release!
I just hope the gameplay isn't quite as boring as the first, though.
Awesome!! I must have this game!! (Otherwise I'll probably die of disappointment)
