I have been wrestling with this thing all day, but I noticed at one point there were TWO links to the SE on my Wish List. So anyone waiting for one might want to check there.
I noticed the link through the regular drop down menu was listed as TBD.
Yep, same with mine. I had one in my cart, and then it's been pending, and shows no number on the cart if I log in from another device. But then if I click on the cart, it sends me back to the Waiting Room.
I'm hoping if I just leave it on the original Waiting Room, it will repopulate.
I'm hoping mine is still in my basket. I'm still in the Waiting Room. When I try and open another window, it opens with me signed in, but when I click on the cart, it sends me to the Waiting Room again. So I'm keeping my Prime W.R. window going for now.
The rest of my conversation with N Customer Support Chat:
Nintendo Customer Support: Can you please provide me the serial number of your Nintendo Switch console for statistical purposes?
Me: Hang on, I'm wrestling with the website to get a special edition. They will sell out.
NCS: I totally understand your concern. We are aware about this situation and we are working to solve this situation as soon as possible. Allow me suggest you try accessing the My Nintendo Store at a later time. May I assist you with something else?
I’m still working on cleaning up the backlog, and am returning to Octopath Traveler. I’ve completed four characters’ stories, am on chapter 3 for two more, and have yet to meet two characters.
Any other gaming time will go to Wargroove and Crypt of the Necrodancer!
I just finished my first play through of INSIDE, which was great, and now I’m batting cleanup on the Rabbids Kong DLC to get ready for Octopath Traveler!
I just finished “Subsurface Circular” that’s on sale on the Switch (and scored with My Nintendo gold points, so it was “free”). It was a delightful movie-length experience with a devastating ending. I would recommend it to gamers looking for a short, unconventional experience.
Otherwise, I’m still grinding through “Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia,” which is great, but pretty challenging on “hard/Classic” mode.
I played through both OPUS games on Switch and enjoyed them a lot. They’re both light, short, emotional narrative experiences, which make for nice breaks between lengthier games (I’m looking at you, Xenoblade 2).
You don’t have to play the first one to get into the second one, though they are closely tied thematically, and there are clearly connections that the two stories are taking place in the same universe.
I finally finished up with Xenoblade 2, so I’ll be dipping into my lengthy back catalog, starting with blowing the dust off my 3DS and loading up Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It’s a delight so far.
I'm still waiting for my Bayonetta preorder, so I'll be continuing my adventures in Possum Springs (Night in the Woods), and die about 10,000 times in The End Is Nigh.
I'm in the depths of chapter 7 of Xenoblade 2, with the goal of having the game finished by June (as opposed to the usual stretch for Xeno titles, which takes me 1-2 years).
I also just picked up Night in the Woods, and hope to dig in this weekend!
I have an unopened physical copy of Odyssey waiting for me when I get home (along with an extra long headphone extension cord I just picked up after finding out I need to play it docked with dual Joy-Con gripped for motion controls).
I made a vow to not buy any more games until I finish the two I'm working on, so this weekend will be dedicated to Mario + Rabbids on Switch and Samus Returns on 3DS!

Re: Feature: Best Nintendo Switch Ports Of 2022
Inscryption is definitely my top pick for best port of 2022.
It's such an amazing and surprising game! I highly recommend checking it out.
Re: Talking Point: What's Your Favourite Music Track From A Nintendo Game?
"Jump Up, Super Star!" from Super Mario Odyssey!
That's still one of the most memorable and iconic levels in a Mario game.

Re: Video: What Was Your First Video Game Ever?
My first gaming memory was playing Gunfight on the Bally Astrocade. This would have been around 1979-1980.
Now if you'll excuse me, it's time for my geriatric pills and a nap.
Re: Where To Pre-Order Bayonetta 3 On Switch
I was able to place an order at Best Buy and already got an email confirmation!

Re: Where To Pre-Order Bayonetta 3 On Switch
Uh oh, I'm having flashbacks to Xenoblade 3 preorders. Hopefully this goes smoother than that!
I'll post any listings I see online. Hopefully it will be up on some non-N retailers.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Have Gone Live, Did You Get One? (US)
I finally got a confirmation email of a Special Edition order from Nintendo, 6 1/2 hours after starting the purchasing process.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Go Live June 30th (US)
I have been trying since 10:35 a.m. PST this morning, so it took like five hours total.
Still no confirmation email, but I took a snap of my order confirmation page/number.
Don't give up hope, folks!
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Go Live June 30th (US)
OMG, I just got an order through!
So I got super annoyed, signed out completely, and signed back in, and was able to secure one.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Go Live June 30th (US)
I guess I lost this one. I'm happy for you humans who got one.
I guess the bots got the rest.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Go Live June 30th (US)
So after nearly three hours, it has reloaded, booted the game out of my cart, and is giving me the "item limit reached" error again.
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Go Live June 30th (US)
@defhed
Excellent! Glad you got one.
How long did it take???
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Go Live June 30th (US)
LOL, I tried to go back and chat with Nintendo Customer Support, and it booted me off.

@TwoTilMidnight Yay! Another satisfied customer.
I think that makes two so far.

Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Go Live June 30th (US)
I never had this kind of trouble pre-ordering anything on the Wii U. And that had DOZENS of users!
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Go Live June 30th (US)
The uncertainty is the worst.
I hope it just at least sells out so I can go back to living my life as the person I was.
I pass the test. I will diminish, and go into the West and remain raradford.

It shows I have 1 item in my shopping cart, but now I'm signed out again like last time, and my login is Mushroom Cycling.
I chatted with Nintendo customer support, and they suggested: "Allow me recommend you try accessing the My Nintendo Store at a later time."
Re: Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Special Edition Pre-Orders Go Live June 30th (US)
It's live! I'm currently "in the waiting room" having PTSD flashbacks.

The cart link is active finally, but it sent me back to The Waiting Room.
