I finally got a confirmation email of a Special Edition order from Nintendo, 6 1/2 hours after starting the purchasing process.

I have been wrestling with this thing all day, but I noticed at one point there were TWO links to the SE on my Wish List. So anyone waiting for one might want to check there.

I noticed the link through the regular drop down menu was listed as TBD.

I have been trying since 10:35 a.m. PST this morning, so it took like five hours total.

Still no confirmation email, but I took a snap of my order confirmation page/number.

Don't give up hope, folks!

OMG, I just got an order through!

So I got super annoyed, signed out completely, and signed back in, and was able to secure one.

I guess I lost this one. I'm happy for you humans who got one.

I guess the bots got the rest.

So after nearly three hours, it has reloaded, booted the game out of my cart, and is giving me the "item limit reached" error again.

Yep, same with mine. I had one in my cart, and then it's been pending, and shows no number on the cart if I log in from another device. But then if I click on the cart, it sends me back to the Waiting Room.

I'm hoping if I just leave it on the original Waiting Room, it will repopulate.

I’m still working on cleaning up the backlog, and am returning to Octopath Traveler. I’ve completed four characters’ stories, am on chapter 3 for two more, and have yet to meet two characters.

Any other gaming time will go to Wargroove and Crypt of the Necrodancer!

I just finished up the Xenoblade 2: Torna DLC and Megaman 11, and am now digging in to Starlink and the Yomawari collection.

I just finished my first play through of INSIDE, which was great, and now I’m batting cleanup on the Rabbids Kong DLC to get ready for Octopath Traveler!

I just finished “Subsurface Circular” that’s on sale on the Switch (and scored with My Nintendo gold points, so it was “free”). It was a delightful movie-length experience with a devastating ending. I would recommend it to gamers looking for a short, unconventional experience.

Otherwise, I’m still grinding through “Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia,” which is great, but pretty challenging on “hard/Classic” mode.

I played through both OPUS games on Switch and enjoyed them a lot. They’re both light, short, emotional narrative experiences, which make for nice breaks between lengthier games (I’m looking at you, Xenoblade 2).

You don’t have to play the first one to get into the second one, though they are closely tied thematically, and there are clearly connections that the two stories are taking place in the same universe.

Light gaming this weekend, finishing up OPUS: Rocket of Whispers, and chipping away at Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

I finally finished up with Xenoblade 2, so I’ll be dipping into my lengthy back catalog, starting with blowing the dust off my 3DS and loading up Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. It’s a delight so far.

Long live the 3DS!

I'm in the fourth act of "Night in the Woods," and will be continuing my chipping away at chapter 8 of Xenoblade 2.

I'm still waiting for my Bayonetta preorder, so I'll be continuing my adventures in Possum Springs (Night in the Woods), and die about 10,000 times in The End Is Nigh.

Inching forward in Xenoblade 2, inching forward in The Flood in the Flame. Inching forward in Stardew Valley. Binging on Night in the Woods.

I'm in the depths of chapter 7 of Xenoblade 2, with the goal of having the game finished by June (as opposed to the usual stretch for Xeno titles, which takes me 1-2 years).

I also just picked up Night in the Woods, and hope to dig in this weekend!

I have an unopened physical copy of Odyssey waiting for me when I get home (along with an extra long headphone extension cord I just picked up after finding out I need to play it docked with dual Joy-Con gripped for motion controls).
