@Alantor28 I hope Jet and the Hammerhead are in the game too. On something that was released, I saw Ed in the game. I wonder if Ed would pilot something? The Bebop? A mo-ped?

Based on some notable absences (assuming this list is true), I'm wondering if the Switch is getting collection releases for series such as Castlevania, FF, DKC, and Seiken Densetsu (already released in JP). Other games like SMRPG, Chrono Trigger and EarthBound may just be dangling carrots in the drip feed. But, who knows, we could even see a SMRPG+PM+TTYD package release, Chrono Collection, or (dare I say?) Mother Collection, right? No? ... Okay.

@MysticGengar @beazlen1 Stunt Race FX was the curtain call of childhood innocence. I'd almost forgotten about that game. That little bombshell hasn't even been released on any Virtual Console in the past or the Classic SNES. That'd be AMAZING if it hits the Switch. Would love to play it again.

Never before played Kirby Super Star and really hoping I'll finally get to on the wonder that is Nintendo Switch. Also really hoping for a few that you mentioned, SMRPG, Secret of Mana, Actraiser and one that you didn't mention, FFIV. All games I've never played before and Switch is the perfect platform to finally get around to them.

Which games will people be playing most online?

Glad to hear about the quality of this release. Doesn't sound like a complete hack emulation. Really excited to experience PS IV on the joy that is nintendo switch.

@Spectra Sega Ages did it better.

Still a big DBZ fan at heart and fighting games have never held my interest for very long so I'm intrigued by this particular game. Not too familiar with trading card games let alone those adapted to video games. Only main exposure has been Pokemon Red & Blue on GBC (if that qualifies) which I was heavily into. All-in-all, sharing games with the West is a good thing. I'm lookin' at you Seiken Densetsu and Mother!

Just echoing what others have already stated. I still see a lot of value in the 3DS. It just offers a playing style not available on the Switch with it's dual screen and stylus mechanics. That said though, if it's a game that can work on either the Switch or the 3DS, offer it up on both consoles. Retro content for example.

Never got into the NES Metroid. Thoroughly enjoyed the remake however on GBA, Metroid Zero Mission. Would love to see GBA games on NSO. Tempted to give the original Metroid another try however maybe using passcodes or if they release an SP version (which you would have to assume they wanna do for this game).

I've been keeping a close eye out for this release since they announced it. It's always been "right around the corner." I think it legitimately is now. It was playable at PAX West. The other "2018" Switch release I'm still waiting to see a release date for is Super Meat Boy Forever. Tough for nindies getting over that finishing line. Never played Firewatch but want to, Switch is the perfect platform for it, will be a day one for me. SMBF I'm waiting to see how it turns out. I never did partake in SMB, hoping SMBF is an improvement.

Wanna make more hardware? How about SNES controllers? N64 controllers? GameCube controllers? Just give us those consoles' games!

@MeloMan I was debating if I play any of the series, just playing PS IV. But now seeing that PS I has this nice SEGA Ages treatment, maybe I'll start with that and take it from there. As for where I get the sequential PS games, could be worth holding out for them to drop on SEGA Ages rather than jumping to SGC.

@w00dm4n I get the feeling SEGA Ages Phantasy Star IV may be a long wait considering there's only 15 SEGA Ages games planned atm (10 of which the titles have been announced, and Phantasy Star II, III, IV are not in that list of 10) and the fact they're releasing at a rate of 1 or 2 per month. Would they release all four PS games chronologically? Will they skip PS III? Will they start releasing at a faster rate? Does it all kinda depend on how well SEGA Ages PS I sells? So many unknowns.

@w00dm4n I've been wanting to play Phantasy Start IV but now I can't decide if I should play it via the Sega Genesis Classics releasing this December or wait until it gets the individual SEGA Ages treatment (which is looking fairly well done).

DAY ONE! Phantasy Star IV let's do this.

More looking forward to Phantasy Star IV on Sega Mega Drive Classics when it hits Switch sometime this Winter.

Missed the boat on these in my youth. Just played through the Resident Evil HD Remaster last month. Hands down one of my favorite games of all time. RE4 for PS4 has been sitting on my shelf for a while now, looks like I'll be trading it in and holding out for next year's Switch release instead. RE0 wasn't very high on my priority list, but availability on Switch just bumped it up a few notches.

I wish it would let you specify which NES-NSO game in particular you want to play.

Count me as one of those that missed out on the Wii U era. This game, Super Mario 3D World, and Pikmin 3 are the three games I'm still holding out hope for Switch ports.

Give us the NES trilogy on NSO!

Everything's just better on the Switch. Did I relish NES games on the 3DS? No not really. Yet I'm kinda excited they're hitting the Switch. I hope the enhancements are actually that, enhancements. I don't expect it to provide all the video game entertainment I need in my life, but I do think it'll be some nice icing on the cake. Part of me is also just excited for the anticipation of the one or two NES games I'm vying for (e.g. Castlevania III, Metroid) not to mention the eventual release of SNES games, GB games? GBA games? N64? GC?

Knocked out a bunch of short games on the old backlog, now finally getting into GOTY(?) God of War. Also Walking Dead Season 1 on Switch in the evenings when retire to my chambers.

Echoing the Castlevania sentiment. Give us 3! Iga's favorite out of the entire series.

Hopefully/likely we'll hear the 10 yet-to-be-revealed NES titles. Kind of hoping Castlevania III is one of them.

Taking the aggregate score of critics is damn near worthless. It's either a unanimous "best game to ever grace our presence" or a unanimous "big stinkin load." User scores however are a bit more helpful, more real and honest.

We should get the official Undertale release date. I'm also hoping to hear more about Super Meat Boy Forever and Firewatch. As we already know Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been pushed back to 2019.

I was excited to give Phantasy Star IV a spin. Thought it was going to arrive over this Summer, but it looks like Sega AGES will be on a drip feed. Guess I may be waiting a bit longer.

Is that 50% discount a typo for 3DS ocarina of time? I'm seeing 30% on the nintendo rewards website. Anyone seeing 50?
