Big A2 is right I cant see how this will not autoboot in 60hz while the game itself runs in 50hz.

Im not about to hit that 50hz switch for anything as I havent in gaming for over 16 years.

Any new nintendo product I get will be an american import from now on as I wont be supporting nintendo europe anymore.

@50 have you played street fighter alpha on a psp from the euro psn store its 50hz.

Course it will only stretch to non handheld releases.

Agree with Stardust whos a lucky american. Anyone who abides by these 50hz rules is helping them carry this on. Everyone should boycott this release. You cant defend 50hz anymore as times have changed.

Look forward to 3DS games at 50hz with VC if it goes beyond handhelds.

I made the mistake getting a european nintendo product with the WII and im never making that mistake again. My snes was modded to run 60hz and I didnt have an N64.

American 3DS beckons for me and an account with the american shop. Since nintendo of europe have been such and treat us like the casualist of gamers I have no intention of supporting them anymore.

N fanboys who buy Zelda and Mario games will ensure they make a profit which is lucky because they will face stiff competition from Apple its true. Games go on the store for far less money and some are at the level of retail games. look at GTA chinatown wars.

Its good that the 3DS has some decent developers on board.

I think nintendo optimised the games to run at near enough the same speed with borders. Probably too much hassle to reprogram a 50 hz image of a cartridge for them and I assume that the american ones wont be used because of licensing issues.

End of the day this is a niche market and they dont really care about europe anyway. How many of the mass market users even use Virtual Console or Wiiware or now the difference.

The kids will love it and not know the difference so they will make the projected sales targets. Im sure it will be in the top 10.

Id like to get this even though I have the 360 version. I loved the reflex controls so wouldnt even play this with a classic controller.

Only problem I have with it is no Killcam so its like a campers paradise.

Why would anyone owning a 360 buy bloodstone over COD black ops anyway.

I dont think that nintendo's first party titles can compete with the third party apps on other consoles let alone first.

Metroid Other M hasnt really put the gaming world on alert when there are so many great games that are coming out every month on HD consoles that can be played online and with DLC.

Also the fact that people can finish the game in 6 hours, well its hardly gonna please the hardcore audience either.

The game that could have turned it all around was Fatal Frame. To this day that is the scariest game ever made and the people in nintendo america had never heard of it. They have always felt in that mario, zelda etc is playing it safe. What a crime it wont come out.

Reggie Fils used to work at Pizza Hut and I think is running nintendo the same way. Not everyone wants to eat pizza even if you dress it up in a different way (as there are better alternatives )

Im still interested to see how it runs on Wii and Wii players should be glad to have the zombies in at last. I also love the control system for MW reflex.

Landstalker on genesis to me is the zelda 3 killer.

this one is looking good.

Game boy version is easier to control. You dont need to hold down at the same time to pogo.

I think both versions are equal.

i could almost see kinnect failing till i heard about camera recognition with objects. That means HOTD type games can come out on it as you can use some kind of a tool with it.

Shame you guys cant review deadly premonition as its not a kinnect game.

A true classic this game. One of the best uses of a disney license even though it was too easy.

Wii is in its final phase.

New Zelda will please the fanboys but games like Marvel vs Capcom 3, Cod black ops and various other big releases will either not come out on the machine or will be scaled down.

When games like that come out you can either play Mario again, Zelda again or the new metroid again with 10 hours playthrough to completion.

There are still great games to play on the wii and exclusives but I cant imagine these making the kind of profits that the developers have hoped for.

So thats it, no more back to the future stories every day on here, phew!!!!

It would have suited the wii platform so strange choice but its not my type of game anyway so not bothered.

ive gone for the 360 version because the sprite looks better and good as the wii is, the colours are always washed out.

This game looks amazing. Best wiiware shooter since Gradius Rebirth.

Online gaming is good but I played games for 15 years before online was available so im used to it. The days of megadrive, snes, saturn, gamecube where no games were online so im totally accustomed to it still.

This game looks amazing. Sega is getting its groove back.

The Wii looks like its in its final phase.

While nintendo have one big release like Metroid other M that they can hype for months. Many other big games are coming out on 360 / PS3 at the same time. Literally a decent game every month instead of one game hyped for months. I know we live in the age of hype but thats how the market is now. The donkey Kong and Zelda games will be the same because good as they are there will be many games coming out on the high end consoles that you wont have to wait for.

The Wii is on a slow decline and by this time next year they will need to move on and create a sucessor if they still plan to stay in the console market. At the moment it looks like they are only interested in the handhelds.

Just have to hope they will be releasing full speed versions of the games and not PAL optimised ones.

Fatal fury 3 is ok. Real Bout 1 and special are the best ones while Real Bout 2 is unbalanced. Fatal Fury 3 is part of the new generation of heavyweight neo-geo games so its good to see that its moved into that era.

Commando, good game.

Hope it gets closer to the CPS1 games.

Some good Neo geo games are coming out. They have moved into the 94+ generation of games where SNK's fighters were competing with Capcoms best. Real bout / Samurai Showdown 4 are getting closer.

People in this country are mainly interested in 360 / PS3.

Doesnt suprise me at all, Even as a WII owner there is nothing on the radar that interests me and you only have to look on the shelves at hmv, game to see the reality of the WII in europe.

Im looking forward to Raiden Fighter Aces, Deadly Premonition, Guwange, King of Fighters Skystage, King of fighters 02UM, Call of Duty Black Ops, Dead Rising too amongst other things. All due this quarter on 360.

I cant think of 7 great games that came out on WII this quarter or that will be and if its just Metroid Other M with its 12 hours to fill the void then thats not enough.

Its a nice machine but its quirky.

I got Gunblade and La Machineguns though good games although the colour is washed out.

Yes SNK, full 60hz versions for VCA. Thats why I get these ones and the Pc Engine games all full 60hz.

Ive left the 50 hz megadrive stuff alone except for alternatives I can get on XBOX live.

I can see the sega games gatting released over here as I think weve got all of them so far on VC Arcade.
