I've just finished Gato Roboto which is a great game. Graphics and music are excellent along with the responsive controls. Only got 67% completion so will have another run at some stage. For now though, back to FF9!
I'm taking a bit of a break from FF9 (on disc 2 at the moment) and playing through Super Metroid on my SNES Mini for the first time! Never played it before but loving it so far! Hoping I can get it done this weekend. Also liking the look of Gato Roboto so may pick that up.
Working through FFVII. As I get further through the game I’m using the power booster more without too much shame. I really want to get through the story and move on to FFX!
Sekiro mainly so far. I fear it’s going to be too hard for me to see it through. I used coop quite a bit to get through later DS3 bosses, so struggling at the start of Sekiro isn’t a great sign! Dark Souls 3 is an amazing game and Sekiro has kind of hooked me in the same way so perhaps it’ll end up being a slow burn over time.
Switch wise I’m on FFVII and Xenoblade 1 on the Wii.
Nope. This simply can't work due to the input lag. Dependency on an Internet connection is a huge issue as well - what are you supposed to do, for example, on a plane?
The Switch is great because it provides portability and versatility to play high quality games anywhere. That's what we actually need more of in the future.
@LunarFlame17 I was also waiting for a Switch version of X, and really hoping for 1 as well, but in the end I couldn't wait so picked up a Wii U to play both!
I've been playing Xenoblade X on Wii U. A few hours in so will still be a while until I fully get into it. Plus it really has to live up to Xenoblade 2 (and Torna) which I absolutely loved.
Blazblue Central Fiction will be arriving later on today so will be jumping into some of that later. I already have it for the PC but Switch is the perfect platform so wanted it on there too!
@MajorasLapdog Not very far yet! Maybe only a couple of hours into each. I only got my Wii U a couple of weeks ago and I’ve loaded up on all the Mario games I’ve missed as I’ve never had Wii U before - or a Wii! My brother gave me his old PS4 and I have Persona 5 ready to go as well. Think I’m sorted for the year!
Xenoblade 2 is one of the best games I’ve ever played! You’re in for a treat!
I’m making glacial progress in Xenoblade 1 and X due to finishing NSMBUD (those final levels were hard!) and working through 3D World. Just bought Galaxy and Captain Toad (as it was on sale) so I guess Xenoblade will have to wait! I feel lucky to be able to play all these Mario games for the first time in one go!
@leo13 Xenoblade 2 and Torna were so excellent that I had to get a Wii U to play the other games! Need to decide which one I'm going to fully focus on soon, once I finish 3D World as an appetiser
I’ve been playing Mario 3D World for the first time on my new (to me) Wii U! Also got Metroid Prime Trilogy and Xenoblade 1 and X all queued up for my first play throughs!
I unexpectedly decided to get NSMBUD and so far I’m really enjoying. Tales Of Vesperia, which is what I’d planned to buy, is sitting on the home screen still waiting to be launched.
Think these will be my two games for the next little while, along with Smash and trying to finally beat the Elite Four.
I finally finished the main game of Xenoblade 2 today (having already beaten Torna). What an amazing game. I really hope there will be ports of the previous two games now...

@NorseGamerTommy Me too! Would be even cooler if Mythra made it in as well!

@imogenpeach The Golden Country is amazing! Enjoy!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (April 27th)
Finished FF7 today. Will play a bit of 9 and X and then see which one I fancy going through next.

Mainly FFVII. Debating whether to pick up FFX next week even though it'll be a while until I can get started with it properly...

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 16th)
Mainly Xenoblade 1 (I wish this was on Switch!) and tempted by World of Final Fantasy Maxima as it's 50% off (would be my first FF...).
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 9th)
Still working through Xenoblade 1 and still loving it!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 2nd)
So happy to see all the love for Xenoblade here! I’m currently playing through the first game for the first time on Wii U.
Besides that I’ve been playing Blazblue Central Fiction and Captain Toad as well as working on my own game some more.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 19th)
I’ll be working through New SMB Deluxe no doubt with some Smash on the side.
I bought a Wii U and Xenoblade 1 and X this week so once that all arrives I’ll be set for about six months!

Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Torna was excellent and now I feel ready to make it through the main game. Still many hours ahead!
