@Henmii Folks comparing this to Uwe Boll movies don't remember how truly bad those films were. Borderlands isn't a masterpiece but it's not unwatchable like the bulk of boll's catalog.
@MarioBrickLayer Yeah it wasn't bad (as bad as everyone makes it out to be) but it wasn't great. Solid 6/10 territory. There was weird divergence from the games. I get that it's an adaptation not directly set in the game universe but I couldn't figure out who this was for. Deviating from the game lore so much made me (an unabashed game fanboi) not that invested but it's so cheesy and kind of bland that it doesn't seem it would be that interesting to folks not familiar with the games.
It feels like a 20 million dollar Netflix movie not a big budget cinema event. While I was entertained I'd be hard pressed to say if you got to see one movie for august you should go see this over Twisters (or Deadpool if you don't have kids in tow)
It's fine, the story is acceptable and the music is pretty good. But I'd rather play with twin sticks than give myself RSI with the constant tapping. It's better than most phone ARPGs I'll give it that ¯(ツ)/¯
What does it matter, you still can't buy a Pokemon Go Plus. I've been to 5 game stops and all say they have never seen a restock since the initial shipment. Going on 2 months. Oy.
yes, DI 1 was a great sell for me. A lot of variety in the worlds and play styles across them. 2.0 was pew pew pew. 3.0 looks like more of the pew pew pew. even my marvel loving 6 year old prefers to go back and play the cars and monsters playsets vs. the 2.0 playsets.
Disney has so many classic properties and other than trickling out a few standalone figures, there's been nothing. Where's the lion king playset, or the Aladdin playset. Anything but pew pew pew 3.0.
Lego Dimensions really is looking to come out with a bang.
@DThrow_UAir Yep, GC controller was THE most comfortable gaming device I've ever used. I don't even play smash, the pad works great for just about everything. I've got a couple of Hori Battle pads that I use with anything that supports the classic controller but something that was a drop in replacement for the pro. I'm very interested.
In for a bakers dozen. Gamecube controller was hands down the most comfortable gaming device I've ever had the pleasure of using. I don't even play smash but I've got a pair of the Hori battle pads for anything that uses a classic. I'll defiantly grab one of these if released.
@Spoony_Tech You don't think the Shop in the Wii Channel will eventually close up cutting us off from the VC games contained within? Or just that it's so far off yet as to not care?
So this doesn't actually have multiplayer and it's not just me being completely in capable of being able to figure out how to do it. The back of the box says 4 and the first one had multiplayer modes so I just assumed. But actually is misprint and poor design. All in all these are relatively fun games but I sure wish the back of the box didn't indicate there was multiplayer if there isn't.
I have been a huge fan of all these retro revivals on Kickstarter. Just, you know, of good games, styles, and genre's. Shovel Knight, Wasteland 2, hell even leisure suit larry. But nobody NOBODY is asking for a remake of Night Trap. While certainly of historical importance for a number of reasons, there is very little to entice a gamer of 2014 to want to play this unless they have a penchant for torture.
@Hy8ogen Everyone was swooning over the Wii U version and all things being equal I like to get things on the Wii U if I can to support the big N. But now I have the buyers remorse and should have just grabbed it on PS3 or Steam.
@akabenjy I don't have a Wii U but I have a Wii and Mario Kart on the Wii. I picked this up for PC, absolutely amazing Kart Racer. Hands down better than how Nintendo has been phoning it in past couple of games.
Also I'm pro Sega making a top tier Kart racer for PC.

@Crono1973 Yeah give me some physical cart RPG action!
Re: Pre-Orders Now Open For These Officially Licensed Wireless GameCube Controllers For Switch
@NIN10DOXD AA is the only way to do it. Non Replaceable internal batteries need to die in a fire.
Re: Pre-Orders Now Open For These Officially Licensed Wireless GameCube Controllers For Switch
Thank the lords of kobol they take standard batteries so we can just pop a pair of NiMH instead of stupid non replaceable built in batteries.

I'd like them to release the feature where I can buy a Pokemon Go Plus

How about an update where you can actually buy a pokemon go plus?

Lol, the drama of this kickstarter is more entertaining than the game itself.

Re: Review: Child of Light (Wii U eShop)
@Hy8ogen Having bought the Wii U version and just wishing I could play it with the pro controller I respectfully disagree.
Re: Review: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (Wii U)
I never thought of doing that lol. That's such a dumb workaround when they could just let the damn game work 1st player with the pro controller.
Re: Review: LEGO Marvel Super Heroes (Wii U)
@JaredJ Yes, This was very disappointing. Given that the second player can use it I don't see why it's not an option.
