I had a decision to make today and chose Ninja Gaiden over Castlevania. As much as I loved the game as a kid, I much prefer the SNES Super Castlevania over any of the NES games.

I am going to get it too. Why not..it's only 2.50 here in Australia.

I finally ordered the game after getting a deal that is $30 cheaper than the usual price in Australia. I really hope I love it!

I got a photo street view of London from above but I couldn't replicate it. I don't mean the map but actual photo footage on the top of buildings. Need to keep using it.

After all that was said about ubisoft, if this game indeed comes to PS3 and 360, it will come to Wii U. Actually even if it comes to next gen consoles, it will still likely end up on Wii U.

Wow some people really like it. I think a demo would be good so I can try it out and see what I think.

They would be better off delaying the game and try to fix it's problems...that is if it's possible.

Was going to buy this anyway but really glad that it's going to be a better port than expected. Also the graphics look really beautiful.

Wow people just amaze me. I am disappointed as everyone else but hating on them is silly. Ubisoft made Zombie U, the only publisher that bothered to make a ground up game for the Wii U. They also bought their biggest franchise in the form of Assassins Creed and will be bringing most of their portfolio to the system in the future. While what they did with Rayman Legends suck, they are still one of Nintendo's biggest supporters.

I just hope it comes to Wii U. WB are pretty good when it comes to supporting Nintendo platforms so I am hoping it does.

I have a lot of respect for Codemasters talent and I hope they finally bring their serious driving games to Wii U.

Awesome day 1 download for me. Now I just hope it comes out this year as is the plan for the PC version.

I really liked the movie and it made me feel quite nostalgic and I can easily say that it was the video game references that made me enjoy it so much. I hope there is a sequel.

Yeah the Wii U logo isn't even displayed. Admittedly the Wii U version will be released a little later but without a Wii U box or even a logo, Sega are not really doing anything to promote the Wii U version. Nintendo really need to address little things like this.

Kill me now! I have been waiting for this and was really looking forward to it. Now my next retail purchase will be in March..way too long.

Cool but is the type of app that I really want? No. I would much rather prefer a media player that can allow the Wii U to play Video and music files!

What crap...Konami always have excuses about why a game doesn't come to a particular platform..as always it's about money.

Same here. I actually am not sure why either but I just never got into the game like the other Contra games.

The sad thing is that here in Australia we are still waiting for the game. Are we Aussies going to get the same game minus DLC after it releases on PS3 and 360. I wouldn't be surprised.

Judging from the pics, it doesn't appear that they use the Gamepad for the actual sniping mechanic which would have been cool imo. I never played the other versions so I will reserve judgement until a review comes out.

No way another Skylanders game is coming? What's next..Just Dance 5? Never saw that coming!

The game itself is great..I'd give it an 8 minimum but I completely agree about the clunky download interface. I cannot understand how the game gets delayed yet, downloading a table that doesn't have a trial can be so frustratingly difficult. Why doesn't the shop realise this and download both the trial and content if both are required?

I only got into the series with Part 4 and would love to see the game on Wii U. It would send a strong message that at least the biggest games do show up on Wii U. Nintendo should be doing everything in their power to make it happen. I also think that the 2nd screen could be put to excellent use with the game.

I agree with you. While most people on NL wouldn't count, the average Nintendo user seems to buy Nintendo's games and skip on 3rd party titles even the good ones.

I doubt it. I would rather hope that Ground Zeroes launces SAME DAY on Wii U. A late port while better than nothing isn't likely to sell and will give Konami a further excuse to dismiss the Wii U.

Until 3rd party games sell better on Nintendo p,atforms, and I mean multi platform games, developers like EA will always focus more on systems from Sony and MS. Sad but true.

Nyxquest was a great game that obviously didn't sell too well. Hopefully the compsny behind it are willing to give a Nintendo platform another shot!

Ok I understand but generally speaking, isn't this good news for Nintendo or more importantly a slap in the face for Nintendo haters who use articles like this to paint that Nintendo is doomed. If yes, Thomas please stop making it easier for such people by focusing on the negatives as it appears here.

These article is confusing me. IGN reported that for the 9 months, Nintendo have profited 159m. Also on another site, they have claimed that Nintendo made 460m this quarter after losing 300m in the first two quarters which equates to the 160m profit that IGN mentioned. So what is the truth?

I may considering chipping in if a Wii U port is confirmed. The game looks really up my alley.

5 seems a bit harsh but it really wouldn't be worth the full price so I guess it's understandable. However at 30cents it's a steal.

I was jealous as a kid of people who had them and guess what - I am still jealous now.

I wasn't that excited for Darksiders 2 when I got it but it has blown away all my expectations. Nintendo should buy them because these guys are talented and could at the very least port Zelda games into HD ala Wind Waker or make a new franchise that with Nintendo backing would sell alot better than Darksiders ever did.

While it doesn't bother me as much on NES games, SNES games will be a different matter all together. Street Fighter 2 in 50HZ is terrible snd it gets worse for Turbo Hyper Fighting which doesn't feel turbo enough.

@MeowGravy - This is nothing new. As a Super Nintendo owner in the early 90's, many gamer including myself were not happy that PAL games ran at 50hz (17% slower than they are intended to be) with black borders on the to and the bottom of the screen. Nintendo are aware of the issue and in 2013, it's inexcusable.

After playing Darksiders 2, I think Vigil games has some great talent and I hope someone picks them up.

The wait continues though I am happy I will be playing a Zelda this year.

While of course I want Gamecube games, I have lots of them hanging around. I am personally hoping for a Dreamcast related announcement.

I can't say much but for whatever reason the game has not been on my radar. Maybe it's marketing or something else but the game didn't really strike me as something I needed to purchase.

While I am slightly disappointed because I own the game on 3DS, I am glad the Wii U is not missing out. Besides people who didn't play the 3DS version will be happy and I will probably buy it all over again.

Bring it on. Nintenfo have been too quiet. Nice to hear them tslk up the Wii U, regardless of what they are going to announce.

Konami have a great history of ignoring Nintendo home consoles since the N64. Anyway I will be getting this unless something goes horribly wrong with the game.

A Wii U release date would be nice! The lauch window means it could be as far as March 31st.
