I just hope the games success made Nintendo America know they were wrong in passing on it. Nintendo should have just given the fans what they wanted instead of just looking at the money angle. While I know this can't always be the case, they owed it to North American Wii owners who supported the console.

Loved the 2 Zen Pinball games on 3DS. Looking forward to this. I expect to pick up quite a few tables.

Being a huge Mario fan, I think NSMBU deserves 1st but I don't think NSMB2 deserves to even be in the top 3. KI to me was the far superior game but I haven't played Sticker Star so I get that it may deserve 1st.

Anyway nice to see the staffs picks.

All I can say is I am very happy for Nintendo. It seems every generation there is a different Nintendo franchise that is Number 1, which says a lot about the breadth and strength of it's games.

Great seeing that video again after many years. I imported most of my consoles before launch in Australia so I never got one by surprise but I can relate to the excitement.

Considering the Wii U has been out a month, and it has the world's best selling FPS, not to mention Zombie U, I think it's fair to say that Wii U owners do play FPS. We are just not obsessed with them like many PS3 & 360 owners.

Exactly...everyone is missing point. There was a translation error and Nintendo had actually said they were working on a patch for Dragon Quest X. This does not mean they are/ aren't working on speeding up the menu. Considering the Wii was constantly updated to improve performance, I think it's a given that Nintendo will always try to improve the user experience on Wii U.

This is so silly because a translation error led to another negative piece about Nintendo.

Konami & Kojima always have excuses for not making their games for Wii U. They also go on about how if they made a game they would use the consoles unique features but end up giving us nothing!

While I get really angry at Konami for their real lack of support for Nintendo home consoles since the days of the N64, it's up to Nintendo to get these games on their system.

Every time there is a massacre video games get blamed. The worst thing is that many of the recent mass shootings in America have been made by males under 40 which often means that these people own a video game console. Considering Call of Duty games sell in the millions, it's not uncommon for for people who won a console to also own a COD game.

When are these journalist going to realise that video games are now mainstream and that murderers owning a video game console is just coincidence!

Yeah it makes no sense they released the far superior sequels first! I guess if you want the whole series then you have to get this!

Hell Yeah was a huge fan of Capcom's work in the 80's but especially 90's. Anyway it's a start!

Wow loved the demo but I have got everything now. I wish Castle Rock had some sort of achievement system or a timer so I would be encouraged to go back. Anyway what a gorgeous game.

I was actually waiting for this game but there hasn't been one good review yet. Disappointing because I need something new on my 3ds.

The general perception on Miiverse is one of positivity, thus I ordered the game and should be getting it early next week. I have yet to play it so I have no idea how I will feel about it!

I just checked the Aussie eShop and there is still nothing here except for the same FIFA 13 Demo. Please come Down Under!

I don't get why people are complaining about the Wii Mini...no one is forcing you to buy one! I just hope that Nintendo continue to sell the traditional model alongside the Mini because I would always recommend that over this, even with the price difference!

While an apology of sorts is always appreciated, it's the traditional console players that feel neglected and let down because of the absence of Megaman in the last few years. Accordingly a free to play PC game does very little to compensate say, a 3DS owner and Megaman fan like me who was waiting for the also free to play demo of Megaman Legends!

It's a testament to the games traditional fan base, that make many of us willing to pay for a console version of Street Fighter X Megaman!

You were unlucky because when my Wii died, Nintendo transferred all my Wiiware and Virtual Console titles to the replacement Wii. If they could do that back in 2009 (for me), it's certainly no great revelation that Nintendo can do the same with Wii U in 2012 and beyond.

C'mon Nintendo there are some things that really should have been accomplished with Wii U. While I'm glad Nintendo doesn't copy every feature of their competitors willy nilly, a unified account system really should have been standard on the Wii U!

I signed. This is the perfect opportunity for Namco and From Software to find a new audience for their game. Considering the way Zombie U turned out, Dark Souls sounds like a great match for the Wii U.

I think it's also up to Nintendo to actively pursue 3rd party games that are also coming to PS3 and Xbox 360!

Only 1 Usb port it seems. Still if it sells more Wii's then I'm all for it.

After hearing about the trilogy on other consoles I skipped ME3 on Wii u. Bring it out and I will likely buy it.

The Wii was hacked silly yet no credit card details were stolen...that was more the domain of the PS3!

I read the reviews and was going to skip it anyway. Sad though because it got released on PS3/360, I was excited or it!

I wonder if Australia will ever get TVii though considering the sad lack of anything even resembling Hulu or Netflixx (Quickflix is decidely crappy..I know cause I pay for it) there probably isn't a need!

I agree with you. Now I can't wait for the next Eurogamer article that points out that Tekken Tag Tournament drops in frame rate. Oh wait if it doesn't, and it's actually better on Wii U, I doubt we are going to hear about it!

I think I get what he's saying but regardless, I am so excited that Nintendo is again giving us a console that is unique and more than just about more power under the hood!

I hope this comes to the PAL eshop soon. It would actually be nice to get the demo before the game to entice me to buy it though I'm pretty sure I will get this regardles.

Could this mean that other games that showed up on debug menu that guy stumbled upon could also be coming to Wii U? I hope so!

This is really sad! Eurocom have been great Nintendo supporters and always made good use of the hardware. I really hope we will see at least 1 Wii U game from them in the future!
@ doctor_doak - You make it sound like developers have a huge list of choices to who can publish their games. I think most developers are struggling for work and will take a contract wherever they can!

It says something about my trust in Nintendolife and it's reviews that I am putting Zombie U back on my shopping list!

I would rather they bring over Mortal Kombat for the Wii U but if this turns out good, I will be all over it!

Nintendo already march to the beat of their own drum and aren't satisfied competing with Sony & MS for the existing video game market. In fact they want way more than that! Nintendo want everybody who doesn't already play video games to join in and with their proven track record of innovation, seem to have a much better chance of doing that than the other two console manufacturers!

Might I add, I love Nintendo for their games and the only thing I want from them is to foster better relations with 3rd parties so in addition to their Top class software, we get as much games that are all the rage on competing consoles. While it's early days yet, Nintendo appear to be exactly that with the Wii U!

I am happy that PS3 owners will get to play a great Resident Evil game that I feel was sadly overlooked by many on 3DS! I wouldn't buy the game again on Wii U and despite the average reviews, I am secretly pining for an updated version of Resident Evil 6 for the Wii U!

I am still trying to decide what size HDD I want for my Wii U! I also want one that is glossy and will look right at home next to my soon to be mine Black Wii U! I really doubt if I will need more than 1TB yet I'm still contemplating a 2TB one just to future proof myself completely!
