@skjia Try deleting netflix and reinstall it. I've had a problem on Roku and reinstalling it fixed it.

I don't have a smartphone but a Nintendo phone sounds exciting. I'll take one.

I would prefer a matted scratch resistant case. The current case scratches very easy.

This game reminds me of a kids show or story where he falls asleep and has adventures. I don't recall the name.

I always thought the game boy and DSI with their postage size screen was too small. Nintendo should have added a video output for TV. I'll have to see the DSi LL first hand before I buy.

If Nintendo came out with Wii 2; that can handle the same graphics as the other consoles I would buy it NOW.

They should have playtesting groups go through the motion of paying (out of their pocket) for the game and see how they react. May see a big difference then just beta testing.

@J.Lowther: Can you have beta testers on the Wii through the Shop channel?

Since it's Wiiware Medaverse Studios can update it to fix any problems.
Reading the review maybe add options to change colors, increase speed of projectiles and fix the dead space between the songs, etc

If it does well on DSi ware would you consider Wii Ware?

Maybe Nintendo should have each person register for their DSi content. If something happens to your DSi you can contact Nintendo to register your new DSi to the old content. How do they know you deleted the software from the old DSi? They don't. That would mean you would have to log on to your DSi. I doubt they will download content similar to Valve and Amazon.

Content must be locked to hardware not a username and password. I'm sure Nintendo will accommodate you to transfer the contents to a new DSi. Whats the cost to repair a DSi?

From my experience you can't access Shop Channel unless you update to 4.2U.
Just be lucky Nintendo doesn't have software to sniff out homebrew, hacks, etc everytime the menu restarts or the system turns on.

I'm guessing the Wii 2 will drop gamecube support, Wii backward compatible, HD support (I hope they have a separate 5.1 audio output), support USB keyboard, maybe use an internal SSD drive and support larger flash cards.

Why are we seeing more flash games coming to DSi and Wii? These are games you can play online.

How about Humongous games for Wii? Putt-Putt, Fatty Bear and my favorite Freddy Fish. My kids loved them.

I have to agree with ODOGG618. Most of the games on Wiiware are too short. And to argue that you pay $10 and the game play should be short is silly. But notice it's a side scroller. hmm Old school?

I hope it's a side scroller. Some games are best from the original first games. The NES series of Castlevania and the DS version all side scrollers were fun. Another games I prefer as a side scroller is Metroid. Super Metroid was a lot of fun. There's nothing wrong with "old school" games. They just need to sit down and make some original stories and graphics.

Why does Nintendo (and others) insist using the Wii controller and not a traditional controller as an alternative?

Extraction is a 'rail shooter'. I'll have to see the game to decide. I would rather have free form.

Well I'm done playing easy mode and the game. I could play normal and hard; if I want to die a lot. I have to agree the game was too short; similar to Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.

I'm getting very picky on what I buy now.

So far Contra is very exciting. Can't wait to try 2 play mode. Love the graphics. Some spots remind me of Contra 3.

I would prefer if the publishers would not show most of the game. I would rather be surprised.
