This has some of the worst animations I've ever seen in any video game. Ever. That tail wagging just looks so bad.
And this is really weird because Outright Games have also made some games with actually good animations. That MLP gen 5 game they made has some legit good animations in the cutscenes and in gameplay. This Paw Patrol game feels like they fired their old animators and hired new ones who can't actually animate.
The visuals actually look pretty good! Especially the animations. The run cycles look appealing, the way the characters' bodies lean into turns is nice, and the textures don't look bad.
I don't know if the game will be any good, but it actually looks like this team cares about the product they're making.
This is the same Nintendo that officially said in a hearing that Night Trap would never make its way onto a Nintendo system. The same Nintendo that wouldn't allow Mortal Kombat to have blood on the SNES.
Cats 2019 is awful. But I will say that some of the backgrounds were actually really good. I've never seen 1920s back-alley trash that looks as good as that movie's.
As time goes on, I'm becoming less and less interested in metroidvanias. Instead, I'm gravitating more and more towards linear action games with challenging but fair stages.
The hardware that enables wifi in the NES cartridge is several orders of magnitude more computationally powerful than than the NES it slots into. Fun stuff.
@Dm9982 I've heard tales of .22s and .30-06s eloping when no one was looking and then, nine months later, a new AR-15 magically appears in the gun safe.
My guess is that if one were to commission a similar piece from a professional, it would cost a lot of money. The first figure that popped into my mind was $20,000, but even that might be too low.

Re: Feature: Which Region Has The Best Pokédex? Every Pokédex, Ranked From Best To Worst
I was hoping for this list to rank the actual Pokedex of each generation. Like, the actual electronic device that your character uses.
Re: 'Kung Fury' Video Game Adaptation Pays Tribute To Streets Of Rage, And It's Coming To Switch
The sequel to Kung Fury is supposed to come out this year. The updates on Twitter have been lots of fun.

Re: Hotel Transylvania: Scary Tale Adventures Checks In On Switch Next Week
This game looks passable, but stiff. The $40 price tag seems a bit steep.

Re: Winds Of Change Is The "Ultimate Furry Tale" Coming To Switch This June
Visual novels don't interest me.
Re: Soapbox: It's Time For Nintendo's Sonic Mania Moment
I seriously doubt any indie studio would be able to come even close to replicating the perfect core movement and control of DKC: Tropical Freeze.

Re: Blaster Master Zero 3 Explodes Onto Switch This June
Hopefully Inti Creates will make a spiritual successor to Super Castlevania IV now.
Re: Kingdom Come: Deliverance Listed For A Switch Release On Nintendo's Website
This would be beyond impressive. Like, Witcher 3 levels of impressive.
Re: Capcom Shows Off More Footage Of Ghosts 'N Goblins Resurrection
For a game like this, I really think the best art style is 16-bit pixel-art.

This is why I'm so excited for Cyber Shadow.
Re: Feature: Don't Underestimate Bakugan: Champions Of Vestroia - It's Shaping Up To Be A Cool Switch Exclusive
The gameplay still looks uninteresting to me.
But the giant monsters still look cool and well animated.

Re: Here's The First Official Netflix Trailer For Dragon's Dogma
I don't know about this. The dragon doesn't look very good to me. I hope others enjoy this, though!
Re: The Splatoon 2 Chicken VS. Egg Splatfest Is Officially Underway
@Franz
You are totally right here.
Re: Switch Online Members Will Soon Be Able To Play Pokkén Tournament DX For Free
Imagine if actual Pokemon games had character models and animations on par with Pokken Tournament.
Re: Want One Of These Lovely Final Fantasy VII Watches? That'll Be $2,500 Please
I've been using that symbol on basically everything for the past ten years. Buying a watch with it is certainly tempting.

Re: Doom Spiritual Successor Demon Pit Brings Hellish FPS Action To Switch This Christmas
This doesn't look like a spiritual successor to Doom. It looks like a bad knock-off of Serious Sam.

Re: Review: The Lord Of The Rings: Adventure Card Game - Can Be Rather Hobbit-Forming If You Let It
I've played the PC version since the Beta last year. It's a great game, but content isn't being released at the pace I'd like.
Also, this game is not a Hearthstone clone. It's based off of a physical card game that's been ongoing since 2010.

Re: Poll: Come On, Tell Us If You've Been Playing As Terry Bogard In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
I tried him. He's fine, but Smash is a game I only really play with others, so it will be a while before I really put him through his paces.
