My Little Pony !!! 😃😃😃
And published by OG Games.
Is that a bomb-disposal mini-game in the last screenshot??
As someone who loves this movie and the previous generation of My Little Pony, Friendship Is Magic, I am very happy this is happening and looking forward to this. Really glad it looks like a platformer taking place in the movie's universe.
I like games based on cartoons I like, loved Smurfs Mission Vileaf, so will likely enjoy this one too.
@Anti-Matter I knew it!!! I knew you’d be the first comment on this! Never change, my dude 😁
This is my daughter's newest favorite pony right after Rainbow Dash. I will probably have to get it for her.
Nature is healing, My Little Pony has returned to consoles.
Why does that accent change with every new line she says?
I'm clearly not in this game's target demographic, so I don't have a lot to say about it, except... The faces on those ponies! Pure nightmare fuel.
My daughter still loves My Little Pony's. So yes.
I will not be getting this. I'm a bit old for My Little Pony I think 😅
@TheFox I was thinking the same thing.
Omg the last MLP game i know was on the dsi and it was G3. I think that was the last console that had a MLP game.
@Faucet they'll be so excited!
@RubyCarbuncle never too old to like MLP👍
This looks surprisingly decent. I might get it
@Mr_Persona I was never into it though even when I was a kid so I couldn't get into it now. Pokèmon I played since day one in my late teens so that's different. Not that I care but I see My Little Pony as something young girls like rather than guys.
@RubyCarbuncle
Remember I am a 37 years old dude here and have interest with girlie things like Sailor Moon, Style Savvy, My Little Pony, Hello Kitty, Barbie, Imagine series, Jem and the Holograms.
Is that BANDAI NAMCO’s logo LMAOOOO
can't decide between elden ring or this one?
@RubyCarbuncle I'm a guy, and I loved the previous My Little Pony series, as well as the movie this game is based off of, My Little Pony: A New Generation.
IIRC, the term used for male fans was "brony." I don't know if it's still used today. It started with Friendship Is Magic, or what fans call G4.
Friendship Is Magic had a dynamic and unique art style.
This new series looks like every other CGI show on kids TV.
I know good and varied cartoons for kids (and all ages) are still being made, but it certainly feels like there's less variety in this CGI age.
@Anti-Matter Dude it's fine I remember you when I was here before 👍
@Kid_Sickarus hahahaha!! Beat me to it, never change @anti-matter
Meanwhile the handful of remaining Bronies lamenting the fact they'll never get the FiM game they always yearned for.
They finally brought a girl game to the switch & it's My Little Pony?? I'll pass wasn't into My Little Pony even back in the early 90's when little let alone now. Apparently have to keep importing my switch games from Japan if I want to play actual girl games that don't have the main focus of the games revolving around horses. Wish Nintendo of America would try to understand there female audience (girl gamers) just a little better than throwing a horse game at us. I like fashion, shopping, make up games (ironically I don't wear makeup irl but have nothing against it in a video game).
Where are all the Hello Kitty & Barbie games for the switch?? Only found 1 hello kitty game for Nintendo switch which I have to import from Japan later... 🤦♀️🤷♀️✌️
Where is Style Savvy? Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side?
Happy Gaming! (^~^)
The visuals actually look pretty good! Especially the animations. The run cycles look appealing, the way the characters' bodies lean into turns is nice, and the textures don't look bad.
I don't know if the game will be any good, but it actually looks like this team cares about the product they're making.
@Barbiegurl777
Remember, you can play Switch games in any region. You don't need to import My Little Pony Japanese version to play that game. Also, games by OG Games never have Japanese version if i remembered (USA and PAL version only).
o bugright games. no issues with the amrket they aim at or simplistic gameplay but all their games are are a bug ridden ffffffffffffffff mess. crashing with 2 players no patches and basically a bunch of con men
Please someone stop Outright Games from releasing any more "games".
Their releases are bug-ridden, horrible license cash grabs with almost no content. 1-2 hours of game time, at most.
kids deserve better than this.
@Anti-Matter
Don't worry. Wouldn't be caught dead playing My Little Pony no matter what region it was released for America, Europe, or Japan. Want to get some games from America but so far not seeing a whole ton interested in yet. I did manage to get all 3 paw patrol games released over here relatively cheap too. Would dl more games but every time price check so far the physical cartridges seem to be cheaper. 🤷♀️
Happy Gaming! (^~^)
@Anguspuss
OG Games was publisher, not developer.
I have played Paw Patrol Mighty Pups PS4 version and it was okay, no bugs founded.
@Linkin_pork
I genuinely like some games by OG Games.
I like kiddie cartoonish games.
I have Paw Patrol Mighty Pups, Transformers Battleground, Crayola Scoot on PS4.
I prefer playing games by OG Games rather than uninteresting AAA games.
@Linkin_pork
I bought all 3 of there paw patrol Nintendo switch games recently. No problem so far. Personally I think the graphics are great~ Even more so impressed with there being almost 14 different languages on the games. 🤷♀️✌️
@Anti-Matter
Is there any Crayola games on the switch? I have Crayon Shin Chan The Storm Called.
Happy Gaming! (^~^)
@Anti-Matter
I'm not sure why you're comparing anything to AAA releases.
The argument was based on bugs and and lack of content. Even if these are aimed at children, they should be good and give value for price.
That would actually add value to the entire brand that is licensed.
You're free to like bad stuff, all I see is a waste of everyone's time and money. Imagine if these games had some effort put into them.
@Anti-Matter try them on switch and see what happens they even admited the bugs and still not fixed.
@Barbiegurl777
Mighty Pups save Adventure bay had a game breaking bug that caused the game to crash if you paused. It took 6 months until they patched it.
Horrible loading times and MAX 30 fps.
2 hour game for completion. If you're generous.
Even my kid said the following about voice acting: Only Ryder talks, that makes no sense.
@Linkin_pork
I'm sure not every games published by OG Games have terrible bugs depend on who is the developer. My games I have by OG Games on PS4 have no problem at all. Even I can finish my Paw Patrol Mighty Pups PS4 without problem. I admitted the game was short but I think it was better having shorter games to finish than very tedious long games to finish.
I have ever bought really mediocre short game Jake Power Handyman NDS that I could finish the game in 35 - 40 minutes. It was too short and mediocre but I like the idea of the game and that's why i still keep the game.
I considered the short games as a snack, the longer games as main course. Every games are different and I like to taste their differences.
Also, Barbiegurl777 really like girlie and kiddie games just like me.
@Barbiegurl777
Crayola Scoot is a Splatoon style of scooter game. You play like Tony Hawk but sprayed paints like Splatoon. Crayola Scoot is not Crayon Shinchan games, the game made by Western developer.
Removed - flaming/arguing
@Linkin_pork
And i prefer playing shovelwares over than uninteresting AAA games. And not every shovelwares are bad or unplayable. You just don't understand the appeal of shovelwares for certain peoples.
Hey guys! Just a friendly reminder to keep the comments respectful. Having different opinions on games is perfectly okay, but please be civil towards other users when discussing. Everyone is entitled to their own personal taste when it comes to video games ❤
A game like this would've been better during FiM when being a brony was a fad, it would've gotten insane sales if it released in 2013ish. Instead all they gave us was a freaking mobile game during that time and most of the bronies have moved on. I myself used to be a brony but lost interest around Season 4 or 5, so the window for getting me to buy something like this has long passed. The game and artstyle looks pretty terrible too (although IIRC this is G5 and that's how the artstyle is supposed to look, so that's more of a problem with the whole gen instead of just this game), so it would've arguably been even more insulting than getting the Gameloft mobile game.
@ClamDown Bandai Namco Europe is Outright Games’ distribution partner in the EMEA region. The game itself is still being published by Outright Games though.
@RupeeClock You did not see the Netflix movie this game is based on, have you?
@HopeNForever
That may be fairly obvious.
Eh, it prob won't be fun. Licenced games aimed at the youngest crowds, usually kind of suck.
@HopeNForever Oh thanks for the info I swore it was a fever dream
@Linkin_pork
Your kid must be playing the game really fast or enjoyed the game to finish in 2 hours flat. As for voice acting they do it in some third party games but it's pretty rare when they do voice acting in kids game or third party game & paw patrol is both. Most games first party or third party have to be really really popular games usually for voice acting to be included in a game alot of times. I like taking my time with my games. I got the cartridge version of all 3 paw patrol games & all 3 we're on sale / clearance. I didn't pay alot for all 3. I bought them because those type of game are clean cut plus I also like paw patrol as a young adult. Not sure if the bugs / glitches are in the downloaded versions of the games or the cartridges or both but did price checking before buying all 3 & buying them in cartridge was just more cheaper than DL'ing. Even when they on so called "sale" in the American eShop they were still higher in price than the cartridges... 🤷♀️ Go figure. 🤷♀️✌️
Happy Gaming! (^~^)
@Anti-Matter
Uhh. I'll look it up later. Not sure going to stick with Splatoon series though. Have the first game on Wii U. I liked it but got bored with it to quickly. 🤷♀️
Happy Gaming! (^~^)
@RubyCarbuncle Oh I understand now. Yeah that makes sense
