Just started playing Super Mario 3D World a couple of days ago and I absolutely love it. I've very much enjoyed the toad levels so far and this'll almost certainly be a day one purchase for me like so many of the other games Nintendo showed us at this year's E3. I'm a very happy Wii U owner right now! Can't wait to hear more.
Star Fox is sounding great. Initially I just wanted one similar to the N64 game but I'm liking all the new ideas I've heard a lot. Can't wait to see a little of it in action!
As for Mario Maker I've never been really into building my own levels on games but I certainly look forward to playing levels other people create.
Nintendo nailed it. The digital event was much more entertaining than the live broadcasts and the treehouse stuff was really great, giving great insight into the depth of gameplay in the titles. The majority of the games revealed have me really interested. Brilliant stuff.
I've thoroughly enjoyed E3 this year. What a great showing from Nintendo. The highlight for me was Splatoon. It just came out of nowhere and although I wasn't completely sure at first the more they explained it the more excited I got, watching the Treehouse guys play it the next day really cemented it as my most anticipated game on any format. Zelda also looked amazing and I can't wait to see more of it. Besides those, Woolly World, Captain Toad and of course Smash Brothers have me very excited too. I love how Nintendo focused on gameplay rather than endless CGI cut-scene type stuff and I thought the Treehouse was a great idea and I really hope it returns next year. For me Nintendo's showing was far better than Sony's or Microsoft's. Well done Nintendo, you reminded me why I've been such a fan for all these years!
Oh and I'm pretty excited about these amiibos too!
I'm with the majority here. This looks great fun. One of the highlights of E3 for me. Love how Nintendo are focusing on gameplay rather than tons of next gen CGI trailers like the rest.
If this is real my life is complete. Well if they've added some proper arenas anyway! Throw in a few more customisations and tracks and I'll happily get a Nintendo sign and marry it.
Thanks for the list. I was a little confused too about timings. Of the 3 'leaks' the 3rd is definitely the most believable. Personally I'd welcome a sunshine remake. I think it'd look stunning on the Wii U and I never got round to playing it properly the first time round. Also I'm sure the water squirting could make decent use of the gamepad somehow, or at least the motion controls. I'd also prefer a 1080 remake to a Waverace one though. Can't wait to see what happens!
Finished with 220 odd. Still have a couple of races left which I might get done in the morning before work but probably can't. Really enjoyed the tournament . Thanks everyone. Got myself onto the leaderboard for a short while which is always nice! Looking forward to the next tournament already. Need to hit time trial for a few of my problem tracks!
If it becomes clear that it gives you a big advantage in online play I say patch it out as it's clearly not part of how the game is intended to be played. If it only really benefits people doing time trials however I'm happy for it to be left in.

Re: Shigeru Miyamoto Outlines His Work Routine and Highlights Splatoon Development Team
Miyamoto is a hero. I'm sure he'll oversee many future classics. I have a feeling Splatoon will be among them!
Re: Grezzo Seeks New Employees Asking If They Want to Create a 'Legend'
I personally hope it happens as I never got round to playing it the first time round. I'm pretty sure this'll happen at some point in 2015

Well raced @MegaWatts. I was in your room for a fair bit but think I only managed to beat you once or twice and that was mainly thanks to lucky items!
