Donkey Kong is one of my favourite games of all time and I'm delighted it's made this list. Might crack out the ol' brick and give a few of the ones I haven't tried a go at some point.

I never use online co-op anyway so local is fine with me. Still undecided on this game as a whole though although it's definitely looking promising. Will be waiting for reviews.

Was on track for around 180 - 190 but then got a bunch of disconnects (which doesn't usually happen to me) at the end which ruined it. Still happy though and really enjoyed my races. Some great racers out there that's for sure! Good luck everyone

@Grumblevolcano are you Tom by any chance? That was some seriously slick racing on your part! I beat you once (thanks entirely to a blue shell) but the rest of the time you had me well beaten fair and square. I'm Cliffomac by the way.

The more Star Fox the better! I really hope Wolf and Falco return. Although Falco's final smash should not be the landmaster as he clearly hates it in the N64 star fox game.

I was pretty certain Falcon would be back anyway (although I'm glad it's confirmed) so I'm going to go with Lucina as my favourite announcement this week. She looks cool. As for favourites I really can't decide. Should they decide to include Cranky Kong he'll pretty much instantly be my favourite but as it is I'll have to wait for the actual game to come out until I can decide. Really hyped for this game now!

Good reasoning and I'm getting more and more hyped for this Smash! Still hoping for Cranky to join but I guess that's unlikely, although I feel he'd definitely add some variety. Yeah it seems Lucina just upgraded from being an alt to having her own roster slot due to the slight difference, I'd rather she was slightly different than just an alt so all's good with me!

Seems like a load of nonsense. More likely old 360 owners making the switch as I think a lot of Wii owners had a second console anyway. PS has always been my second console and I like my PS3 but I can't see me getting the PS4 for a good while because there are still no games on it that I'm interested in and there doesn't seem to be many on the way either. I think the Wii U will be my main machine for some time to come although I've still got a few PS3 games I'm wanting to play.

I like these new additions. Glad to see my main man Falcon back although I never doubted he'd return. Lucina looks especially good. Might have to get Fire Emblem now!

Yoshida seems like a nice guy. I like that. This kind of thing is good to see and makes a nice change!

Just finished my races. 318 points and currently in 17th (I'm 'Cliffomac'). Much better than my last performance so I'm happy! Thank you all and a special thanks to 'Farage'. Your Mii made me laugh a lot!

@sinalefa I'd also rather have Cranky than K Rool. I think Cranky would be a really awesome character. Probably unlikely though! My money is on Shulk.

Excellent news and well deserved, the Wii U has some truly great games, and I've barely scratched the surface so far. Buying one was one of the best decisions I've made in a while.

The Sun is a far greater 'mental health risk' than any video game will ever be. It's nice to be able to play games and escape a world where some people will probably believe this garbage. - goes to turn on Wii U-

Definitely out of my price range, and yeah that red is a tad aggressive!

Not in a rush to get this either. Will get the set as a physical copy when the price drops a little so I can play it against my little brother when I'm babysitting him. I'd never really play these alone and online doesn't really appeal to me.

Yeah if you're going to advertise on TV aiming for the kids market is probably a wise move. I do hope they start marketing the Wii U more here in the UK. Most people don't seem to have a clue about it.

On a more serious note this statistic doesn't surprise me at all. Parents would rather lend their kids their iPad to play on than get a 3DS. I think the handheld market will definitely continue to be dented by smartphone/tablet gaming but I think there'll always be a market for handhelds due to the increased precision etc and wider gameplay opportunities actually having buttons creates. I hope this'll be the case anyway.

My first Nintendo console. Happy Birthday! So many memories on this thing and so many great games. Will never forget the day my Dad bought one of these and we had our first Mario Kart session. So. Much. Fun.

I'm sure this won't impact on the single player so it's fine with me. I'm not too bothered about it being included though. Zelda is just fine as a one player experience in my books, however if Aonuma comes up with a multiplayer mode that's good, well that's a bonus.

I'm not too worried. The free Mercedes DLC is ok and I can't see Nintendo going overboard with this kind of thing.

I'll get it but can't see myself using it often. Still I don't mind Nintendo doing this now and again as long as it doesn't take over, and I doubt it will. What we really need though is more characters and a few arenas please. Go on Ninty, you know you want to.

Having only just got the Wii U with MK 8 a few weeks ago I'm still working through a rather large backlog so nothing for me this week! Pullblox has been added to the list though, looks good.

Agreed with Miyamoto, concentrate on the single gamepad games. Dual gamepads could be cool though as long as it's optional.

@JaxonH agreed! I love bright colourful games and it probably is mainly because they take me back to my childhood years! I love feeling like a kid again and Nintendo games always do that to me.

In other news 2015 is going to be amazing. This, Splatoon, (hopefully) Zelda U, Starfox. Can't wait.

Oh and I hope they make a woolly yoshi amiibo. That'd be all kinds of great.

Personally I like the gamepad. I don't really use off TV play but it's mega useful for browsing and I think it's probably the most comfortable controller I've ever used. My girlfriend thought it was ridiculous at first but now she loves it.

I'm unlikely to use the Miis very much but I'm cool with them being in the game and am glad they've put in a lot of effort to make them interesting!

Sonic, Megaman, Mario, and Pac-Man able to battle each other. The stuff of dreams! Very excited for this. I do hope Falcon joins the fray soon though as he's my favourite!
