Peach MK8

Mario Kart TV, a relatively simple idea of allowing stylish highlight reels with super slow-mo, has become a goldmine of memes and better advertising for Mario Kart 8 than money can buy. The Luigi death stare is so cool that Nintendo even adopted the viral hit for its own advertising in Japan.

We had a go at having fun with the feature in our own cruelty of Mario Kart video a couple of months ago, too, but this latest example featuring the one and only Princess Peach is one of our favourites of recent times. It shows races featuring nothing but Peach against a backing track of "Peaches" by The Presidents of the United States of America. If you're an alternative rock fan of a certain age, you'll likely have fond memories of this '90s track.
