I've got around twenty hours in my playthrough so far. This game has absolutely been the biggest 'surprise' awesome game I've played this year. Even better Switch 2 will get an update.
Sprites are glorious-looking and the game runs well despite all the stuff on the screen.
The difficulty spikes really do suck.
Grinding is tedious, but I don't mind it since I'm playing on Switch and probably I'm watching a movie at the same time anyway. I can mess with this and still watch my movie and hang out with my wife.
