I would like to play this. I’ve always been curious about r-type as a tactics game.
Also, please just release a compilation with every r-type on it. These Irem compilations with every game they’ve made BUT r-type make me sad.
@gcunit lol that was such a sharp turn from your first sentiment to your second. I feel the same way as your first thought. If I hear something is super addictive I feel like it’s not for me.
@Yalloo @FishyS Thank you for the recommendation. I was curious about Fitness Circuit after seeing it being mentioned here frequently. I have tried other fitness games and for me they have fallen flat compared to RFA but I’m going to give FC a shot if I see it go on sale. I’ve heard about the motion detection issues with it so I appreciate that being acknowledged and then it still being worth it. I’m always on the lookout for new exercise routines. It’s my favorite hobby when I have energy and free time. I’ll let you know what I think if I pick it up. 👍
Ring Fit Adventure but I’m starting to question if I can continue to enjoy it without feeling sucked into wanting to play other games. It has been such a great workout and motivates me to work on different exercises that I would normally struggle with continuing. It is hard to let go of. Feeling a bit low at the moment.
I’m interested in Fitness Boxing 3 because I have the first two but I don’t really have the speed required for those games. It seems like they’re making 3 more accessible with more practice and training modes. That’s great. I really hope they improve the movement detection too.
It would be fantastic if ea fc 25 ran well on the switch but I’m not holding out hope. I look forward to the reviews.
@Truegamer79 Totally. Literally the only reason that I want a Switch 2 is for the next iteration of Ring Fit Adventure. I feel like they’re waiting for that system for the sequel. If Ring Fit Adventure 2 came out for the Switch I have I would be so happy.
I’ve taken a step back from Ring Fit Adventure due to time and energy constraints but I’m keeping my fitness consistent with UCV raises and farmer’s carries in the evening. I’m dipping into more Alien lore with the Alien ttrpg rule book and aliens phalanx novel. I’m a nerd.
@LikelySatan Totally. I feel like that movie was so misunderstood. It felt like the beginning of such a grand sci-fi epic but it got so much hate. I don’t know if this is how it went down or not but to me it was like the studio got cold feet after its reception and just wanted Ridley Scott to do another “Alien” movie which is what covenant felt like to me. Just a back-to-the-basics alien story. So disappointing. Killing Shaw off screen just seemed like a 180 on the story they were originally set out to tell.
Blasphemous 2: I got it during the half off sale I’ve been enjoying this and am greatly impressed by the design and that an indie team was able to pull this level of quality off. I’m not super far yet but right now I feel like I might stick with it (my game time is incredibly limited right now and I am very fickle with games). So yeah the atmosphere and art is top notch and I’m playing in Spanish like God intended. One complaint I have is that igniting the swinging mace that I’m using sometimes glitches and freezes my character so it throws the timing off and I have to burn through more fervor to ignite it in a safer space. Hopefully this will be patched. But all in all it’s an extremely interesting and well made game.
Ring Fit Adventure: This is my favorite game and something that I’m always playing. My oldest is going back to school next week so I’m excited to get more time for leg lifts and cardio.
Other than that I might play a mission or 2 in Red Dead Redemption. There’s a lot of aspects I’m enjoying but many of the side activities like card games or horse wrangling aren’t for me. I wouldn’t mind seeing this through because I like some of the characters and dialogue but if I drop it no biggie.

Re: Nintendo Indie World & Partner Direct Announced For Tomorrow, August 27th 2024
I’d be interested in Zero Ranger or the M2 port of Ketsui Deathtiny.

Re: Random: Alien: Romulus Pays Tribute To Alien: Isolation With... Telephones?
@LikelySatan I loved Prometheus too. I was so bummed out they didn’t continue her story arc in the last movie.
Re: Random: Alien: Romulus Pays Tribute To Alien: Isolation With... Telephones?
This is cool to know. I’m starting up alien isolation today if the baby sleeps and I’m going to see romulus this weekend with some friends.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (10th August)
Ring Fit Adventure and No Man’s Sky on relaxed mode.
