Out of all these games, which ones are Switch exclusives? And I really want to play Owlboy... but can't stomach spending 25 bucks on a pixel game. 15 bucks please.
"It's certainly a lot more affordable than anything offered by Sony or Microsoft..." Umm they offer a whole lot more. Cloud saves, voice chat from the system not an app, a ton of more current games... not NES classics. 20 bucks is still too high.
For those asking about gameplay... you wander and empty mental hospital... don't see a single person or thing and interact with things in the environment. They use a ton of sound to make the game seem scary... like creaking doors, rustling leaves, etc.
@imgrowinglegs Dude I've been complaining about this since day one. It's ludicrous. Just because the game is new to the system doesn't make it new. This is a very bad precedence to set... just slap a "Switch Edition" on the title and they think they are good to go.
Can grab it for a quarter of the cost on other platforms... c'mon Nintendo just because it's a new game on your platform doesn't make it a new game... make these companies charge fair prices. I can totally understand games released on cartridges though... manufacturing them aren't cheap.
I love my Switch but if it continues to push out re-releases from the WiiU and not new IPs... I don't see this trend continuing. Exclusives sell consoles not rehashes from last generation. This years list of games aren't that impressive... maybe last year was too good?
@JimmySpades I would agree with you if these weren't old games. I get it you like overspending for games... too each their own. I prefer for the game companies to earn my money not try to pull a fast one by reputting out old games under the original price. I hear a ton of people complaining about the price of the rerelease of Donky Kong Tropical Freeze.
Why are the games so overpriced on the Switch? A lot of these games have released on PS4, Xbox1 and Steam. It's crap that they jack the prices up just because a game that's over a year old is on a new system. Please do not buy games like this, make them price these games correctly by protesting with your wallet. Thanks.
Hello all I'm new to Nintendolife and just got a Switch for Christmas. I haven't really played a Nintendo system since Gamecube... I owned a Wii but it felt like a gamcube with motion controllers and didn't impress me. I'm primarily a Sony gamer but got a switch to fill the void of the Vita and plus Zelda. Anyway... can you guys make notes on which Indies are exclusive to the Switch? I own a lot of the Indies on my PS4 and don't normally rebuy games I already own and strictly use the Switch for Nintendo games and exclusives. Thanks.

Re: Move Over Baby Mario, Coffin Dodgers Is Bringing Geriatric Kart Racing To Switch
Do not waste your money on this... it's bad. I played it on PS4 and it's one of the worst kart racers I've ever played.

Re: Luigi’s Balloon World Is Now Available In Super Mario Odyssey
Oh really I haven't played it yet. How long did that take?
Re: Luigi’s Balloon World Is Now Available In Super Mario Odyssey
I wish they added a quicker way to earn money... tired of spamming the slippery slope level in Bowsers Castle, just to get the overpriced costumes....
Re: Review: Owlboy (Switch eShop)
They should list the selling price as one of the negatives.
Re: Legend Of Kay Anniversary Will Claw Its Way Onto Nintendo Switch in 2018

Re: The Town of Light: Deluxe Edition Is Coming Exclusively To Nintendo Switch This Spring
So I played the original one on PS4... it's not good. Has some original ideas but the gameplay is horrible and its not that scary.
Re: Nintendo Download: 1st February (North America)
I'll probably get Dandara... as far as I can tell it's a Switch exclusive... could be wrong though.

@Folkloner I know they don't... they can address the third parties... because its not just those two doing it.

Re: The Planet-Hopping Xeodrifter Will Touch Down On Nintendo Switch This February
Great another rerelease... that is over a year old... that will sell for max price as if its a new game. No buy from me.
Re: Nintendo Confirms ARMS Won't Be Getting Any More Major Content Updates
I've been eyeballing Arms... and the price just went down in the sale. What fighting game is it like? Punchout?
Re: Nintendo Download: 25th January (North America)
