I have pre ordered both. I will be new to steam ecosystem when I get value deck. The problem is it says I will not get it until Second quarter of 2022 ie April ,may or June.I will not be interested if true. Anybody Pre ordered and have sane reservation date?

@Linux7055 I don't trust IGN. (I agree to a point about joycons ie sticks are better on value deck),but I'm not only one saying it that's played similar devises with same configuration. At least with switch you can attach 3Rd party one's on. not to mention if you have problems with left/right controller you have send whole device away. There is very good positive thou,but negatives outway

I have to agree with comments about joystick and button layout on right,THE position configuration looks absolutely awful nightmare. value had no choice because of touch pad but it's where more isn't necessary the best way, to cluttered.IF you watch video on stick with right thumb it's overlapping over few buttons..No physical game cartridge. The file download sizes will be huge compared to the Switch. very big portable. I do however hope Nintendo is taking note of valve deck. Oh only available on there website.

I suggest you go look up both there lauch lineup of.PS4 that had mostly PS3 clones and so did xbox one of 360 to.PS4 didn't have any top games for nearly 2 years.FACT.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE just play mate Chipset makes no difference does it.Im very proud of what Switch and Nivdia and nintendo did.It's one of a kind.They have far more 3RD party Developers on board,and most importantly I haven't heard 1 developer say anything bad about Switch's spec's.So if there fine with it so should you.

Well nintendo sent out a Dev kit in early June and then new updated version in oct/Nov.So as this games been in development for long time,I can't see why it would come to Switch.Even if this game was to come out,we don't need Old ports of games

I'm very happy that you said you don't need pro controler as the joycon grip is good enough to play games like Zelda.My personal view nintendo will bring out a joycon with a Dpad,for VC games like Gamecube.It's shame you have to buy pro controler for that.You need won for on the go.

The Vita cost 25.000 y.The Switch is 30.000y.I can't understand why Japanese find it expensive as the switch is far more capable than the vita and is 2in1 hybrid.You have to buy PS4 and Vita to to get anything like switch.

@Tsusasi you don't need extra joycons(you do get 2 fully seperate joycons that can be used as fully fledge controler. unless you have a family that wants to play.What makes me laugh is If you buy xbox one or PS4 you only get one controller. £50 for 5 hour ps4 which has stupid touch pad and dozy light.Xbox one costs £60.2 Joycon's cost £74 and have the same teck is that of vive controler or oculus move costing £180+.Your not forced to buy pro controler. The Switch is a two 2in1 home console and portable hybrid. PS4/xbox is only I device.So how in he'll can you say it's dear. Bloody he'll this article is a wast of time and a brain headache.Nintendo never said anything about price of Switch at $250 ect.That's rumors mill and media driving it and thirsty.And that means you nintendo life.Gamers casual or hardcore don't need this messy crap.Nintendo needs to show £280 is worth the price.And it most certainly is for a home portable hybrid.Xbox one controllers are £60 with charging kit and last 8+.The 2nd gen PS4 is £50 with bad 5 hour battery life ect.The 2 Joycon's are as good as vive motion ones or oculus move witch are £180+ for 2. £74 For 2 Joycon's which are far superior in teck ect.But as always it's stuiped people on online sites who do anything to destroy nintendo because of there Hate,And it's media who are to blame to. It doesn't bother me whatsoever.As long as frame rates is good and it plays same I'm fine .Also developers have have been working on PS4/xbox for over 3 years+ now and The Switch well it's there first Game,so this will improve over time.

In England it's £59.99. IF that's the true price then it will be huge flop sell wise.I was going to buy this and I thought it's price would be say £30/£40 MAX. But in my opinion it's not only game over priced 123 Switch is to.LET'S hope they charge this fast

@UmniKnight I think it's to do with Zelda.Most hardcore gamers are just going to buy this and more importantly play and play it with no time for any other game.2nd I think big AAA games(3RD party) ect are being pushed back to allow smaller profile games to have chance at sells.

@ZeldaNX I new nintendo would not raeligate the 3DS.In GAME in Uk,the New XL 3DS has been sold out since December.It costs £173+ without a game, it has free online and amazing game library.And plenty more games on the way with cheap accessories and games from £10 or less to £40 and great eshop.The Switch is far far more capable but far more expensive .

@FX102A past tense.At end of day I've been shopping at that GAME store since first game shops opened,and the manager there is same.So as said I asked him and his co manager.They said £229 or £250.No chance it's £210.But will see.
