Re: Feature: Super Nintendo Games We’d Like To See On Nintendo Switch Online

berga89

I am gonna die a bit inside if, whenever they finally announce it and put out the list of Snes game, Chrono Trigger won't be there.
But then again it's not Nintendo's license, so I guess no Square Enix games on the Nintendo Switch Nes online library likely means the same will apply to Snes. I hope they would just make a port for Switch and sell it, I wanna replay that game so badly, it's part of my youth.

Re: Nintendo Switch Game Vouchers "Not Currently Scheduled To Return" In North America

berga89

To all our friends living in the US: I know is not a solution to this problem, more like a way to exploit a loophole, but why not just create an account under a different region so you will be able to keep buying the vouchers?
Also for many games the US marketplace is not the cheapest one out there (talking mostly about indies, as big games have a more uniformed price-tag throughout the different markets), so having an account under a different region is like hitting 2 birds with 1 stone. Sure you would have to pay for another subscriptions, but if you plan on buying another 2 or more sets of vouchers, then it gets immediately repaid.

Re: Guide: How To Improve Your Switch's Internet Connection

berga89

What really bothers me is that months ago I bought a USB to LAN cable adapter (one listed as the best NON official Nintendo adapter for Switch) and changed from WIFI to wired connection just to find that now my Switch connection sucks more than it used to be. I don't even know how is that possible, but I tried many times and no matter what, WIFI just seems to work better for me.
Usually if I test my connection on Switch while using wired connection, I'd have a max 60 Mbit/s download and roughly 100 something upload, and I have a 1.5 Gbit line at home. My PS4 is happily downloading at 600+ Mbit/s on the same line.
I really do hope one day Nintendo will just outsource everything that has to do with internet on their devices, it's embarrassing how bad it is.

Re: Sony Gaming Boss Says The Industry Is "Better" Because Of Nintendo's Efforts

I like this guy Layden better then many other guys in the industry. Like sure, at the end of the day he's a Sony employee and will do what's best for Sony and Playstation, but speaks like someone who cares about the industry as a whole.
And let's never forget the PS1 was born because Nintendo turned down Sony's proposal to use CD for the N64.

@EvilLucario
Well BloodBorne it's my all time favourite game. And I am a die hard Zelda lover to the core, played and loved all of them. So, well yeah, I'd say 1 exclusive is enough to make me buy a PS instead of a PC, considering PC exclusives are not a thing.
Oh, RDR2 is also a pretty damn nice game and God of War is also pretty good, so I'm for Switch + PS4 over a PC.
Exclusives are all that matters.

Re: Rumour: Crash Team Racing For Switch Might Not Release On 21st June 2019

CTR had it's own pro as compared to MK (story mode with boss races and the battle mode in arenas was just on another level compared to MK balloons mode).
Characters in MK are much better IMO, the feeling of driving I'd say it's close (personally I'll give it to MK, it's just personal preference).
So, MK64 and CTR were close games, maybe I preferred CTR back in the days... But now we have MK8 on Switch, this game has to do better than MK8 and not MK64 and, in my opinion, will not even get close to being as good as MK8 is.

Re: Half Of All Switch Owners In The US Have Bought Zelda, Mario And Mario Kart

@ShadJV
You are right, I never took into consideration the second-hand market because I was never able to get rid of any of my games
About casuls, Idk honestly it seems for now the user base for Switch is pretty hard-core gamer based, indeed it will become more and more casuals oriented in case they eventually release a cheaper version of the console, but Switch has the poorest version of FIFA, no COD no GTA which is what most casuals wanna play. For super casuals, like my uncle who's 45 and never touched a game when he was younger, the other day he was complaining with me about not being able to find any new Nintendo Wii game in the store lol, I just don't see super casuals jumping on the Switch train when you have cheaper and better choices for a pure home console and smartphones for gaming on the go.
I guess we will see what happens if Nintendo releases the much discussed Switch mini + Pokemon 2019, that'd draw in a lot of people who'll likely buy the system just to play the game and nothing else.

@ShadJV
I don't know, even 3 to 5 years from now those 3 titles will still be some of the best available on the console. Heck, those 3 games are some of the best ever made period. So why not dipping in them even in the next decade?
My personal experience: recently got a PS4 and am playing The Witcher 3 and BloodBorne, newer is not synonym of better.

Re: GameStop Italy Listing Reveals New Information About Mortal Kombat 11

I don't care how detailed are the brains of Raiden after I smash his skull in, this need to run smoothly especially in hand-held since it's the big selling point of the Switch version. Pretty hyped about this one, and playing Smash all those hours during the weekend really reminded me of how fun are BeU, just sheer game play and exhilaration.

@nintendobynature
Hey if you need some advice just private msg me. Any way the beginning of the fight with Capra Demon is a bit tricky, but if you start dashing to the right side and roll past his first slash, you should be able to make it to the stairs. The secret to this game is just patience and it's a lot, A LOT, of trial and error, so relax, you'll make it eventually

@nintendobynature
Really there is not a correct order to which boss comes first in Dark Souls, one of the reason I am madly falling in love with this game. Capra Demon is not nearly as bad as a lot of people say, it was the easiest boss for me actually.
Hell the whole game has been pretty easy so far and I just finished the Bligh Town, hopefully it will get more challenging later on, but I'm loving the gameplay, lore, setting and level design, especially the level design is so brilliant!

I'm mostly playing Dark Souls on my Switch the whole time since it came out, it's my first playthrough of the game and I'm loving it (just completed the infamous Blight Town), also is really not a difficult game at all like many like to say.
Then the usual daily 30 mins at Overcooked 2 and just got LEGO HP collection 2 days ago and played a bit of co-op with my girlfriend as well. Mainly though whenever I sit on the couch my time will go into Red Dead Redemption 2
