@sketchturner controls in this game are very hard to use , long dark instead is amazing in every department and graphic while they are tuned down is still good and atmosphere is preserved , is run well too 30 almost rock solid fps I have the game and I loved it and you have much more custom option for the difficulty compared to green hell , if you have to chose just one I suggest long dark
@Aya-chan I was thinking the same, well i was going to buy at launch but i was worried of my backlog, now i have more time to finish everything I have from crysis2and3 , long dark, flame in the flood, both metros games and of course the dlc the following from the first dying light
@Lilmonix3 And same time the game you wanted wasn’t in the first one but in the second one and you already have spent too much in the first one i really hate this mentality should have just one big sale from Christmas and new year
Aff i just bought yesterday Crysis 2 and 3 plus invisible inc nintendo edition for almost 50£ now i am obligated to buy dusk i hope my wife will mot check the bank account the next week XD
they should win the award of more incompetent and lazy developer ever, beside if they knew the hardware was limited they shouldn't make the port from the beggining , this is just cash grab and hope people wont ask refund basicaly and tha's a fact because they are still selling the game on the eshop
@Slowdive
Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition is garbage only worthy for free, to many gamebreaking bugs never solved(the develeoper officialy give up to fix it), thousand of people manage to have a refund straith from Nintendo
@Shambo the persistence is a very good rougelike fps scifi, i loved it and is a challenge game as well but not impossibile , it has the most amazing weapons idea (chainsaw teleport is amazing)
@moodycat that game is plagued with game breaking bugs , even the developer give up officialy to solved it, they refunded a lottttt of people includind Nintendo with the digitaly copy, it'sno worthy at all, i still dont get it why the dont remove it from the eshop is a scam to continue try to sell it
my most played this year was borderland collection with 46 hours, second one was monster hunter stories 2 39 hours and finally immortal Fenix with 39 hours as well
bought long dark for just 6.85 £ combining sale discount +golde point, is the best survival game, with multiple difficulty levels including a custom one, amazing atmosphere, and the deepest games mechanics ever, and with the tons of staff offering including 9 maps (a 10 will arrive later developer are still adding staff and events) is a total bargain, and bad way apart the downgrade (which is not bad at all ) the port is amazingly done , framerate is stable a 30 and no bugs
I bought long dark for just 6.80£ (9.99 reductions plus my gold point) Best survival ever made, so deep and charming and with several difficulty levels including a custom one tailored to yourself, I am playing to the story and the plot is good too.
any reason I can't find the dlc on the uk store yet ? while is already available on pc and other console since launch? are we again the last wheel of the truck ? I want to buy the base game because of the 50% discount but now I am delaying it until I am sure we have both patch and dlc on the store
@Astral-Grain
i really suggest to buy dying light, i never played before just now on switch and is an amazing game , the first person is really immersive, both main map are generous and the parkour system is amazing, combat is OK started dull at the beginning but as you progress in the power skill tree it starts to become more deep, looting is soooo additive as the crafting system and the durability of the weapons is lighter than breath of the wild , there are 4 main dlcs one with a entire new map bigger than the mains one together and new game play mechanics,one with an arena game system ,one with a separate game based in a fantasy setting with rewards you can bring in the main game and one with another 2 quarantine zone to explore(hard areas) graphic are good especially on the portable mode(after the patch witch improved the resolution and frame rate is consistent at 30 100% during the day and almost 100% during night really worthy the full price
of that list I am only interest on metroid 4 and mario and rabbid spark of hope , I lost interest on breath of the wild 2 after the last trailer release it
patch is already out, solved the framepacing by capping at 30, improved resolution in handheld mode making more crispy and beautiful to look(it was already great and their make it more great) , better motion control i can aim better now with guns and apparently the lockpick bug is gone(before motion control where active during the minigame) , they fix a crash with the hellraid dlc and other fixes , the game is perfect the best ports on switch ever
for me depend of the replay value, metroid i find to pricey because is about 10 hours and not replay value , while i find game lie void ***** much more price fair because they have great replay value because of randomized of enemy and loot , for me the minimal amount of hours for a game with not replay value must be at least not less than 15 hours, 20 is perfect
(i will still buy metroid dread but only with the 33% discount and not now because i am already broken i decided to get dying light instead
i already have my physical copy on hand right now from amazon uk is my first game-card on switch normally ii only buy digitally , this evening i will fire it up on my switch
@Gwynbleidd i think the two is available because techland already made the game board rating friendly and it was approved to sell OR because is a cloud version and the actually game running is not in the e-shop server but only the small client starting file
I love the game(never played a Metroid game before, only metroidavian games like hollow knight etc.) but I am baffled at the game length 12 Hour is too low for a game selling at 49£ , probably I will buy when Nintendo will do her characteristic 33% discount, what I want now is something much longer to play because I can only afford one game this month and probably will be dying light (if the porting is good) because of his length can exceed 100 oh hours with all the staff to do and DLC packs
@Mountain_Man
in the trailer on youtube in the comment section Techland reply to an user question saying it was 100% captured on Nintendo switch and the frame rate look ok for me for the few frames I have seen(specially with the scene of the dlc following with the car at full speed ramming zombies.
I believes they have made effort for a good porting mainly because they want to sell the second one in February the cloud one, and people will not buy if the first one will be a *****
I used to always label indies as "games not worthy to spend money " boy how wrong i was. I loved void ***** and the persistence find them not only fun but original compared to standard triple AAA fps , i loved stardew valley,hades, hollow knight and my time at portia ,dead cell,yookaele,redhot e aragami(best 3d person stealth I really wants a new tenchu game).
@Ralizah
Like myself my only first party games are luigi and mario oddisey i would buy the steam deck for all assassins creed, far cry 5 and the future 6, deus ex games, dishonoured 1&2, thief 3,dead space trilogy ecc, even future games i have no trouble to play with low-medium setting as long the fps are around 25-30 , switch have lowered my standard about graphics a long time ago
@Dethmunk
Well steam deck as everything i wanted and i did not get it on switch: all assassins creed, deus ex human revolution and mankind divided, dishonoured 1&2, fallout 4, far cry 4/5 ,sekiro,dark soul 2&3,dead space trilogy ,horizon, ecc and a lot of retrogame like thief1,2,and 3
@SwitchVogel
exactly, i only have switch and i loved the ports of the Witcher 3, doom and doom eternal , and i bought a lot of other games with little problems like tropico 6 and i enjoyed, i already pre-ordered this game digitally, people should stop to continue compare switch with pc or ps4
@HotGoomba I was hoping for crisis 2-3 specially the last one i never finished on Xbox but now i want to complete it , I really hope EA will awake and do a dead space trilogy for all console and decided to bring it on switch as well
