Region locking increases piracy and prevents people from importing games at lower prices. It only benefits local distributors who can control the prices. I have absolutely no idea why any consumer would support this crap.

Pachter is right. The only reason people buy the Wii U is to play Nintendo games. 3rd Party support from major publishers is all but dead and most people who bought a Wii are now playing games on smartphones and tablets. Unless your a Nintendo fan, the Wii U is not worth the price.

I would rather play as Ganon who ends up killing that fairy Link, enslaves the entire world and marries Zelda.

The types of game I like (shooters, fighters, racers, action) do not work well with a second display. I just cannot get used to looking at the TV and GamePad when playing games on the Wii U. The DS/3DS work a lot better because the screens are right next to each other, but many games would play just fine with a single display.

I only download games illegally when they are not released in North America.

I just cannot get used to the GamePad no matter how many times I tried the Wii U. Looking at the TV and the GamePad screen when playing games is very cumbersome and the controller is too bulky in my hands. The Wii U Pro controller is what I use for gaming.

The lack of third party support is a big concern. The Wii missed out on lots of great games from these publishers and I fear the same thing is going to happen with the Wii U.

No to microtransactions. Yes to DLC containing lots of content. The main game should be complete with DLC only used as a optional bonus.

I played a water down version of this game a few years ago on the 3DS. Very disappointed Nintendo did not make a next gen Mario game.

EA could care less about the Wii U because nobody is buying their games. A lot of other third party publishers are avoiding this system like the plague for the same reason. Low Wii U game sales = more support for Sony/MS

The Delta Six is now all silver and has an orange tip on the barrel. I would love one of these for rail shooters on the PC.

US federal law requires all toy guns to be transparent, brightly colored or have an orange tip at the end of the barrel. The Delta Six will be banned in seconds if ever released.

I see the same thing happening with my family. My nieces and nephews prefer to play games on the Kindle and iPad instead of the DS. The consoles they have sit by the TV collecting dust.

I wonder how many projects on kickstarter are scams? They could use your money for personal needs (buying groceries, going on vacation, etc.) instead of using ALL the funds to develop the project. I will never invest in a kickstarter campaign unless I receive some of the finished profits.

I would love to see Surging Aura, Panorama Cotton, Twinkle Tale, and Super Monaco GP (my favorite racing game of all time).

EA's new Frostbite 3 engine (powering Battlefield 4, etc.) will also not run on the Wii U. This is really bad news for Nintendo because many third party developers are going to start using the Unreal 4 engine for PS4/Xbox 360 games, making ports to the Wii U much more difficult.
