@SBandy1 Nintendo already has such a large player base for their mega IPs it would make sense for the numerous number of players that Zelda picked up last year. While I do wish for the return of smaller IPs I think Nintendo will stick to the ones proven to make money. However they might learn from the amount of growth that some IPs have made on the Switch such as Xenoblade, Metroid, and Kirby. Personally I hope Switch 2 comes with tomodachi life.
I’m surprised that Echoes of wisdom isn’t doing better than it is. 8th for a Zelda game is rather sad. You would think that a game that appeals to younger audiences would do really well this time of year.
This was a quiet year for first party games but I decided to vote for Echoes of Wisdom, it was a nice surprise coming off of the major release of 2023. My 2nd was Splatoon 3 side order because it was so fun to see one of my favourite series branch into new genres (hoping Nintendo does this again in Splatoon 4). With Switch 2 coming out soon I anticipate next year will hold all the big announcements for future games. Right now I’m looking forward to Xenoblade X and Metroid Prime 4 and in the far future Splatoon 4.

O’ joyous day, at last! I’m so excited to see how the next Xenoblade game will look now.
Re: Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Makes The Longlist For BAFTA's 2025 'Best Game' Award
Eow has no chance, it’s still nice to see it up there. Just so long as Call of Duty doesn’t get any critical praise, I’ll be happy with this.
Re: D&D-Inspired Co-Op Adventure 'Worlds of Aria' Rolls Onto Switch Next Month
I love D&D! I will definitely be playing.

The sound track is kinda fire too though. I’m not complaining.

@Rob3008 Fair enough, I just had higher hopes for this game.
