@Galenmereth Um, the game is free to play. It’s not pay to win. There’s nothing wrong with the Developer trying to make some money on their investment. They offer cosmetic rewards for completing challenges. They don’t effect gameplay.
I hate micro transactions. This isn’t the same so I don’t know what your going on about.

I for one am excite. Got the first one in a humble bundle and I wanted to keep playing once the credits rolled.

This game is great. Gives super meat boy a run for its money.

But I’m also one of those lunatics that is double dipping on some of my favorite Wii U games because I want to play them on Switch.

Take a look at the sales of “Mario” titles in general. The Kart series outsells the other games the majority of the time.

Yes, I should get a discount since I purchased the game and DLC on the eshop.
If you bought it physically you could always trade in your copy for a copy of deluxe.

@Mega_Yarn_Poochy Sure, Kirby is bigger. But Kirby was born out of HAL and Iwata trying to 1up R&D1.
Mario, Metroid and Zelda were all R&D1 projects and imho created genres all on their own.
But yes, Pokemon and Kirby overshadow Metroid. Just not in this gamers heart. 😎

If it's using a Tegra I'll probably wait awhile before a purchase. That tech isn't too exciting. Definitely not a worthy upgrade from the Wii U. I'll play breath of the wild on the console I have.

Thank goodness for Mario 3. Not like I need it since I've had it on the NES, SNES, GBA, VC and the anniversary disc. But great for all the whiners who really need it on the U/3DS.

I mostly regular destructoid, being able to speak your mind without fear of censorship, I find the community more on "my level".
I love nintendo. I've owned all the portables and consoles since the NES. Yes, even the virtual boy. I had a psx back in the day for FFVII, but that's it.
I guess I'm a hardcore fan. So it irks me when I come to sites like this and read countless comments from nintendo fans whining over things like this game possibly coming to a nintendo system.
It should. It's a good game. I may not agree with the views expressed in the game, but I can respect another's view point. I guess I just like diversity in my video gaming. There's diversity in the world. Get over it. Some of you fans are part of the problem Nintendo is facing right now. I know I'm just one fan but it has me embarrassed. Maybe I just grew up and my sheltered life caved in around me, but I still love the artistry that nintendo puts into its games. It's good for the hobby so many people love.
Anyway, without profanity, I want this game on Nintendo platforms. It blows that people like some of you are blowing it for me and others. Have fun with super new yoshi's island in 5 years. You asked for it.
