Re: Nintendo Isn't Backing Down On Its Decision To Pull Mario Products From Stores This Month

Nintendo stopping printing the All Stars game makes sense, it is to celebrate the 35th Anniversary so it has to be a limited event, they can't still be printing it by the time the 40th anniversary rolls around for instance.

The games in the collection will almost definitely be available as separate purchases on eshop later.

Mario 35 is going to be the one that hurts, it has been great fun and I am hoping it gets rebranded and released in another form. It is also free so I can't really complain too much.

Persona 72% PS4 28% Switch, seems about right considering it is primarily a Playstation series.

Good week still with 4 Switch titles in the top 10 and the somewhat niche Bravely Default 2 finishing just outside.

The charts are pretty much going to be a mixture of evergreen Switch titles, COD, Fifa, GTAV, and Playstation titles (depending on PS5 stock) for the forseeable until the next big release which is Rise I think?

@LXP8

I think you are losing out for nothing but that is your choice.

Regarding RE4 remake, it won't be anywhere near as great as the original. The thing people get excited about with the remake, the "modern" controls, miss the fact the original was built entirely around the "limited" controls and that is what made the game so tense and perfectly paced.

I will give the remaster a go but at least I will always have the original to go back to (on at least 5 platforms now!) when it doesn't match it.

Re: UK Charts: Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury Fends Off FIFA To Stay Top For A Second Week

@arpaktiko

Wrong 1: It does not only happen in the UK. At all.

Wrong 2: I buy it once every two years, when on sale usually half price. In fact the reason it had a surge this week was due to a sale.

Wrong 3: There are gameplay differences with each yearly iteration that can really change how the game feels to play, not always massive changes but it does and can happen. Obviously Switch is the exception as it is now legacy editions but that is about 10% of the sales of Fifa.

I am convinced Activision delays the release of these games on Switch for the double dip effect.

Crash Trilogy, Spyro Trilogy, Crash 4 and now Tony Hawk (pretty sure it's coming) will be bought by Switch only owners but there will be a lot of PC, Xbox and PS gamers who already bought the game but wanted it portable too and likely would have just bought it on Switch only day one.
