1. Playing it over and over again on the special Radica Plug-n-Play TV console (with 5 other awesome Genesis games) - didn't get further than Spring Yard Zone. _ 2. My neighbor carried a Genesis (one of the newer models) with Sonic over my house and we had loud Sonic noises blaring all day, with all the kids outside watching — this was in 2009 so I was very surprised,
The farthest back I can trace my first Sonic experience is in 2000 where my cousin took my over to his friend's place and he had a Genesis hooked up with Sonic 2.
How do I remember? The special stages and being pissed off at Tails for being an idiot. Ah, memories.
...And the introduction of an raccoon named Marine, whose language is so stereotypically Antipodean you want to stick her on the barby and toast her with a few tinnies.
Maybe Nintendo can break down the barrier that exists ― psychologically or not ― between the two groups and return things to a simpler era, and era when gamers were just gamers.
I considered the PSPgo as a handheld way ahead of its time, as Sony tried to ignite a digital download-only trend in handhelds, which failed because of how badly it was marketed, and also the costs.
50 dollars less than the PS3, many proprietary stuff and from what I've seen, very slow download speeds. I believe that retail and digital distribution should stay side by side in a handheld, like what the DSi attempted.
The PSPgo could've been great, if it was released in the future. The truth is that digital isn't the way to go just yet. Many things will be tried (OnLive, Steam etc.) but there won't be a clear-cut alternative to retail just yet.
As for the 3DS, no. Just no. It's horrendous to believe that people are losing their cartridges that easily. The DSi has shown us one thing — if Nintendo ever went full digital, it would've fallen dead flat. The DSi Shop was just that irritating. I just hope the eShop meets (or even exceeds) my expectations.
I hope this game does make it to Nintendo 3DS, because I'm aching for a Sonic game that's not some minigame compilation (Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Games, I'm looking at you — Sonic on a horse... _)
Since when was Sonic 4: Episode 1 badly received? To the fans, it was, but seeing those reviews, they seemed fine.
I am so sick of the Classic vs. Modern debate and this is why I hate the Sonic fanbase sometimes - ungrateful, whiny and they just cannot chill for once. I'm all for saying kudos on dedication but this is getting way out of hand here. To each his own. Live by it, will ya?
So sad to have a bag with no cat in it. Brings tears to my eyes.
This game is brilliant, and this is a bit of a stretch when I want to call it the Super Meat Boy of DSiWare when it comes to how many times I've died since I played the game yesterday.
It'll annoy you, but in a good way, not flinging your DSi across the room-bad.

Re: Talking Point: Your Sonic the Hedgehog Memories
My best Sonic related memories:
1. Playing it over and over again on the special Radica Plug-n-Play TV console (with 5 other awesome Genesis games) - didn't get further than Spring Yard Zone.

2. My neighbor carried a Genesis (one of the newer models) with Sonic over my house and we had loud Sonic noises blaring all day, with all the kids outside watching — this was in 2009 so I was very surprised,
(All memories listed took place in Jamaica.)

Re: High Voltage Responds Badly to Scathing Conduit 2 Review
Both parties are hurting themselves.
I really don't think Murdoc did a fair review, and his comments on the whole HVS backlash scenario stung in more ways that one.
I mean, come on! Con-don't-do-it? That was basically the beginning of the end for that review.
HVS pretty much dug themselves a grave with this stunt but in the end, both sides are just doing wrongs, not rights.

WayForward has done a lot of good work on the DSiWare service.
I'm inclined to call Might Milky Way the Super Meat Boy of DSiWare... maybe because of how many times I keep dying.
