I only buy digital if I absolutely have to, and then only when the price has dropped significantly.
Should there ever be digital only I will stop buying new stuff. I dont even have time to play all the physical game I have already stockpiled.

Yo Kai definitely has its appeal - but Pokemon is just more popular and has a greater tradition with many adult fans. I played 1, got 2, and will buy 3 when its cheap. Yo kai 4 looks great

agreed, it endangers real gaming. Companies realize they can make easier profit with a simple and repetitive game that is f2p on the outside and p2w on the inside. You can literally spend hundreds of not thousands of dollars and still not get the pixel character of your choice. and people will till praise cygames for its generosity. Furthermore it definitely facilitates gambling. These games are labelled as 13+. Of course, parents are responsible for their kids, but lets be real here. Gacha games are predatory and it saddens me that Nintendo has become part of it.

Let's be brutally honest here, if somebody is dumb enough to preorder a digital product they deserve to be punished. I understand pre-ordering a limited physical item but digital? Come on, its gonna be available 'forever'. Nintendo has always been somewhat on the thrifty/greedy side, though.

Nintendo has always been thrifty and greedy (just look at mynintendo rewards system and stuff). Its not like they couldnt have done better - they didnt want to. There is a difference between being a fan of nintendo games and nintendo as a business company - the latter is one of the worst companies out there in regard to consumer friendliness imo.

seems nowadays anyone can come up and claim something bad happened like 25 years ago. anyone ever thought these people could have been paid by someone who wants to ruin somebodys life? they should come forth immediately and not years later when there is no evidence to back it up. True or not, it will always put a stain on a persons reputation.

I you want the game and can afford it then buy it. If its only the former than do what you want. Games are expensive and what about those kids whose parents cant afford to buy them a new game every month? Nintendo is rich, they will not make any losses on games they would have never sold in the first place, does that make sense?
