All of these bad 3DS reviews are a bit scary. I know it's just one sight's opinion, but I generally agree with NL's assessments and seeing as many negative reviews as have been listed is alarming, at least to me.
I wanted one of these so bad when they came out. The advertisements were so flashy and explosive, I just had to have it. Never did get one. It's probably for the best.
If I want a racing game without projectiles, I'll play NFS or GT. The items give the game it's charm and it is nice to play with lesser skilled people and them still have a chance to win once in a while.
Yeah, the beginning of the trailer made me feel like I was watching a trailer for a new Pixar movie. I had Bobby Carrot on a cell phone and it was pretty cool. Pretty addictive game. Reminds me of an old Windows game where you ran around and collected keys and solved puzzles and whatnot.
Can't argue with this article in the least bit. I sure hope a Nintendo exec gets a hold of this and sees the passion behind the article and the comments.
I'd love to see more N64 support. I would buy the VCA version of Mario Bros in an instant as it brings back tons of memories.
The GB is awesome because it took games like this and made them good despite it's limitations. Length of GB aren't a big issue for me because when I was a kid I played mine mainly in the car. My GB collection is the best out of all of my systems.
I tend to agree with this Patcher guy. The 3DS is such a unique item and with all the 3D craze lately, I think it would have easily sold for $300 bucks at launch. People were paying absurd amounts to get a Wii on ebay three years ago.
I had a feeling a score like this was coming. Anyone that owns All-Stars has no use for it and I can't imagine these games taking up hardly any disc space. It would have been nice to see SMW2 on there since it demands a fairly high price. Oh well.
When most people think of Disney, they think of children or family friendly movies and merchandise, but a lot of the games that came out in the 8 and 16-bit eras were really good. Too bad there isn't some sort of Capcom compilation disc with all their great Disney games. (I'm aware this is made by Sony btw.)
I can't say what I'd rather have considering I've not played TvC. I like sykotek's explanation in favor of their decision, but it couldn't hurt to have both games, could it?
@slapshot82 - I want to live where you live. I have three courses within an hour of my home, one being in a neighborhood so you lose your disc to a house, and the other is full of gang members. Almost saw a stabbing last time out. Instead of spending 10 bucks on this game, spend 30 on a driver and putter and play the real thing.
So is the main character a snowman or a penguin? If he's a snowman, there's no way he can survive in that second photo. I'd be interested to know what the gameplay is like.
I got this game when I got my Gameboy and loved it. Some of the enemies can be hard to see at times, but this is a very well made game and one of my favorites among my 40+ original GB games.
I'm really excited for this game. I own most of the Mario sports games on the cube and have been waiting for another one to come out. If only there was another Mario golf on it's way
I don't mind games that are short because I don't always have a lot of time to play games so I just blow through a game to get my fix. It looks cool so I'll probably get it.
Combination of poor economy (that's my excuse for not having it yet) and that many teenage gamers grew up with the Prime series and might have felt this was taking a step back.
X-Play has a pretty big following and they gave it a 2 out of 5. When I saw this it bugged me more than anything because they can be hyper-critical of games they don't get. These kinds of media outlets want innovation and I think that means it has to be a FPS taking place in war times.
This seems like one of those things you buy and don't open and twenty years from now it's gonna be worth a ton. Maybe not, gamers are more educated these days, but I'm considering doing this and seeing what happens. I'll let you know in 2030 what I get for it.

Re: 3DS Virtual Console's First Third Party Games Get Rated
Fortified Zone won't be liked by everyone, but it's a good game for anyone who likes a challenge.
Re: Review: Adventure Island II (Virtual Console / NES)
This is AI game I liked the most growing up. Gonna have to empty the ash tray of loose change.
Re: Nintendo Download: 18th April 2011 (North America)
I still have my MMX cartridge that I got for my 8th birthday way back in the day. I can't believe this game is pushing 20 years old!
Re: ESRB Rating Outs Mega Man 5 for Virtual Console
Sweet. Maybe this release will drop the price of the cart. Sorry, not paying 40 bucks for an NES game.
Re: Rumour: Wii 2 has Blu-ray Drive, Controller Contains a Screen
I'd probably buy more games for the next Wii if the games don't focus so much on motion controls.

Super Dodge Ball is awesome. I hope this makes it outside of Japan.
Re: Artist Brushes Up on 8-Bit History With Unique NES Paintings
At first glance, it looks like Trogdor is getting kung fu'ed.
Re: Mario Kart Without Items Isn't Mario Kart, That Includes the Blue Shell
If I want a racing game without projectiles, I'll play NFS or GT. The items give the game it's charm and it is nice to play with lesser skilled people and them still have a chance to win once in a while.
Re: Konami's 3DS Sudoku Collection Includes Bomberman
You can buy a massive book of Sudoku for a lot cheaper than this game is gonna cost.
Re: First Bobby Carrot Forever WiiWare Trailer Sprouts Up
Yeah, the beginning of the trailer made me feel like I was watching a trailer for a new Pixar movie. I had Bobby Carrot on a cell phone and it was pretty cool. Pretty addictive game. Reminds me of an old Windows game where you ran around and collected keys and solved puzzles and whatnot.
Re: Bomberman Hero Gets Rated for Virtual Console
I'll pick this up if and when it comes out.

I tend to agree with this Patcher guy. The 3DS is such a unique item and with all the 3D craze lately, I think it would have easily sold for $300 bucks at launch. People were paying absurd amounts to get a Wii on ebay three years ago.
Re: 3DS Hits North America on March 27 for $249.99
I'm gonna have to play one before I buy one.
Re: Man Steals Game Boy from Casket at Funeral, Turns Himself In
@6 - My thoughts as well.
You have to be messed up to steal something of little monetary value from the deceased.
Re: Features: NES Characters, Then and Now: Part One
Luigi: "You look ridiculous!"
He's always been a favorite of mine. DK gets more awesome as time goes by.
Re: Brian Provinciano Addresses Retro City Rampage WiiWare Delay
I really hope this doesn't get cancelled on the WiiWare. I only have a Wii and I've been wanting this game for some time now.
Re: Review: Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Edition (Wii)

Not a Smash fan, but it looks good. The music is great.
Re: Wii Balance Board Gets its First Horror Title Next Year
Sounds good. Very strange too.
Re: This Safe Sex Video Owes a Surprising Amount to Mario and Mega Man
I noticed a few things, but I'm afraid I'll get in trouble if I point them out. That condom is massive.

Re: Review: Fireplacing (WiiWare)
Pretty extensive review of a fireplace.
Re: Review: Karnov's Revenge (Virtual Console / Neo Geo)
Maybe if Karnov put a shirt on it would have received a higher score. "Clown" isn't exactly a creative name for a character either.
Re: Camelot Excited by Challenges of 3DS Development
Mario Golf 3DS please.

Re: Review: Faxanadu (Virtual Console / NES)
I'll have to give this a try. Looks fun.
Re: Cricket Challenge, Rated and Spinning Towards WiiWare Service
Cricket is a sport I've always wanted to play, but living in America, this might be as close as I'll ever get.
Re: Don't Expect Announcements From Nintendo at CES 2011

Re: Japanese Virtual Console List - December 2010
Adventure Island 2 is my favorite in the series. Must buy if they come to the US.

Isn't she the girl from that crappy Terminator show that was on a couple years ago?

@mariofanatic128 - Your name is Doom? Awesome.
Re: Taito's Trademark Applications Suggest the Return of SNES Titles
Always love to read about VC support.
Re: Feature: Slipped Disk - The History of the Famicom Disk System
I could have bought one of these for 70 bucks with what I was told was over 100 games. Maybe I should have made the hour trip to get it.
