@Ulysses physical sales from the bundle aren’t included which is the only reason why. I bet 90% of people are getting the game that way.

This article is incorrect. The only game that outsold DKCR:HD in this quarter was Super Mario Party Jamboree. The numbers for Smash, Luigi’s Mansion 2, and Super Mario Odyssey were totals for the entire fiscal year, not just Q4 where DK was released.

@JohnnyMind I think the other difference is shadows can’t kill or die from enemies on your screen, only their own.

Have you even played Tropical Freeze? Diddy has tons of personality and great animations in it, he cheers DK on while he's playing switch/3DS, and even covers his eyes, he takes his hat off and slaps DK with it to dust him off when he gets dirty. Not to mention all of the boss cut scenes where he's constantly getting upset and willing to fight anything to get the banana's back.

I think you're severely underestimating current Diddy. Hell in DKC: Returns he knocks the moon out of the sky with his jet pack.

Diddy has his jet pack and peanut guns in returns/tropical freeze, and his animations are top notch. He still has the attitude as seen in his tantrum in Strikers and his willingness to put up the ol fist o' cuffs whenever and boss challenges him in the Retro series. Not to mention he plays bongos in the Tropical freeze finale (Dixie has her electric guitar).

All I can really see missing from the Rare days is his boom box and sunnies?

@StarPoint I’d say there’s lot of incentive to play online, unlocking new items for ur stadium, increasing ur rank, and they just added a new single player ranking system for online play.

@RareFan @RareFan curious what u think is missing? He literally whistles for a kong barrel and hops in with mad style. He throws an absolute tantrum when he’s upset. He has all his cartwheels and style.

I guess he doesn’t use his jet pack, pop guns or have his boom box here but I still think he’s spot on!

@SonOfVon Choosing the character allows anyone in your club to use that character. You need different people in your club to make different characters so that you have a variety of options.

The lack of fun Mario/DK esque courses is a big bummer for me. I decided to finally pick up world tour instead. I’ll wait to see what the updates do to Super Rush

@Classic603 it’s mostly just a a lot of DKC 2 tracks being remixed and reused in different ways but you also has brambles levels and the return of Dixie Kong. That’s pretty much all I can think of off the top of my head.

@_Dan if this happens I sadly don’t believe it will be David Wise. He recently said in an interview that he was not working on DK at the moment.

@Bolt_Strike come on, there has been SO MUCH MARIO on the switch. DK has been waiting for so long, give us DK fans some time in the spotlight.

What’s unique about the call of duty’s on wiiU? I still own a couple of the them, and had them all
At one point, but I don’t remember them doing anything unique on WiiU, other then being able to play multiplayer with one person on the gamepad. (Which was awesome)!

I still love my WiiU, for its ability to play so many retro games. But I also still have a Wii, n64 and Super Nintendo. So I can basically play almost all retro Nintendo games. I will get the NES eventually.

I probably wouldn’t recommend anyone to buy one today, unless you love retro games like me, but I did try to convince my friends to keep theirs. I’m also excited to jump back into Nintendoland one day!

But also..... I would do anything for 3D to come back, but I doubt it ever will, so I will always cherish my 3DS for that alone!

@Yrreiht I was able to preorder rise on Amazon Canada for $10 off (pricing error). Still hoping to get the collectors edition though, but got this just in case we don’t get the collectors edition, or if the price is more then the base game plus the magnemalo amiibo.

I really wish Nintendo would give updated sales numbers for more then just their top 10 selling games. I would love to see how some other games are selling on the system.... particularly Tropical Freeze!

I’ve always thought that making e3 demos available to all switch owners.... for a super limited time.... would be amazing. I understand they like to keep those in a controlled environment with a rep overseeing gameplay. But I think the customers who would tune in and download those would understand That there are going to be some bugs. I just think it would be a great way to make e3 more exciting for the majority that can’t attend.

Imagine it’s a live presentation on the switch. But instead of watching gameplay videos. U get to quickly play a short 5 minute segment... and then the live show moves on.

Obviously the tech isn’t there yet, but one day, it would be Wild if they could do that.

Yup, I’ve read that cleaning out the contacts can help. But I need to get some compressed air. So far using a q-tip hasn’t helped much.

I’ve been having an issue where one of my joy-cons will randomly disconnect while playing it in handheld. Then I have to pull the joy-con off and slide it back on to fix it. Happens once or twice each play session. Any quick fixes or is a Nintendo fix the only solution?

I finally found the full set from a private seller. Excited for it to arrive so I can finally start playing it!

@westman98 the Labo Kit is definitely not on any shelf. I just had a hell of a time tracking one down.
