Re: Miyamoto Believes Nintendo Have Not Fallen Behind With VR

@HalBailman It's moved beyond the novelty stage some time back, and specific headsets or units have already reported sales in the millions, I'd say quite a lot of people "care" about VR otherwise companies like Facebook and Sony wouldn't b sinking money in2 it...its here 2 stay...dunno it seems like good fun, tho I'll admit 2 never using it..but I'm intrigued cos traditional gaming can become boring sometimes.

@carlos82 It probably isn't the "be and end all" of gaming although "moderate success" is a relative way of looking at it, Sony have shifted more than 4 million units of the PSVR and in excess of 15 million games (VR), those numbers r not 2b taken lightly...they'll b ramping things up wen d PS5 is launched and eye tracking gets introduced...VR is "a thing", there's a market to conquer. Let's see what happens...

@BRAINFOX This "partnership" or "team up" is a little bit more serious than the way you have described it, they have clearly stated it's to "work on cloud solutions for game and content services" and that is exactly what Stadia is all about, but yes I agree with you it's very early days...but let's b honest "under normal circumstances" they would not be getting 2gether to work on anything !...that's similar to BMW and Mercedes hooking up to oppose Tesla, it's not a "natural" partnership u wud expect to see.

@gameboy1975 But that's exactly what an opinion is, it's what "you" think about something so you are 100% correct...although unlike "your opinion" I'm supporting "my opinion" with a fact that the PS4 game sales far exceed that of the Xbox 1 hence my conclusion that it's "better"...that person gave his opinion, I commented with my opinion and then you replied with your opinion...so everybody is happy...

They (game developers) should maybe focus more on releasing a "decent finished product" as this story of releasing any old rubbish and then fixing and updating over time seems lazy to me, there's almost no point then to these reviews. Perhaps other forms of entertainment could learn something here...The movie's ending wasn't well received, oh but it's been changed, u should see it now it's fantastic....

Re: Nintendo Download: 20th June (North America)

@rdrunner1178 Perhaps they should of just left it in the past hey, just now Pong will b hitting the eshop, but the question is do we really need 2 resurrect every game from 25 years ago, it's starting 2 become tiring about now...its just a lazy way 2 make a few dollars.

Re: Realm Royale Is Now Available As A Free Download On Switch

@Tasuki I hear u loud and clear but unfortunately the public will decide on that, as long as there is an appetite and an audience it's gonna be "pushed" onto us. You say "move on" but the question is "to what?", innovation and originality is thin on the ground just now in the gaming industry...I mean how many more "zombie" themed games or games with "dungeons" do we have 2 endure in our lifetime...The only area where "originality" might exist could be in the VR arena...

Re: Realm Royale Is Now Available As A Free Download On Switch

@Kody127 Thought it was just me but that "building aspect" is just silly, it's so monotonous, anyway the Fortnite bubble has burst already as Twitch streaming numbers have declined massively, but I don't doubt that there gonna push it still as hard as possible.

And don't 4get the feature where u can now "drop furniture outside", no way dude !, let's b brutally honest...that's not a standout "thing" or a "talking point", it's not like that would have "stretched" the developers nor will it have more people standing in line 2 buy it...let's keep things in perspective...

@tonyt3rry Lego is definitely a quality product and I respect the way they operate their business, I suppose it's sort of the "modern way" with many forms of entertainment these days (and we should probably blame the Yanks for this), these so called "franchises" (not that Lego is a franchise) start out as one thing and the next time you look they're everywhere, for example Star Wars, how many movies across our lifetime will be pushed out before the bubble bursts ?, nobody knows but in the meantime Disney will "milk" the cash cow, and good luck 2 them.
