@timp29 You make an interesting point about recording shows. However, from a business point of view, the stations aren't really losing money. Same money from advertisers, etc. No different watching it then compared to the time that it aired.

I used to love Beyblade when I was in 3rd grade. I had one of the Game Cube games, and it was pretty fun. A lot cheaper than buying real Beyblades and getting all the parts =P

Between this, Luigi's Mansion, and FE, I got this. I haven't got too much into it yet, but it's pretty fun so far.

In Japan, karaoke is big. And also where it originated. After a long day of conforming to strict social standards, karaoke and alcohol are the way Japanese people can just let it all out.

@rafaelluik That too. However, if you had a copy of the apk, and assuming it had Google's built-in anti-piracy, the app would still work. Of course you'd need to be logged into that account still.

Do they have any TRON figures? I'm a TRON fan as well. Never got a chance to check out all the figures.

@rafaelluik It's in the Play Store's contract to save their butts in case something goes wrong. You can redownload Play Store games/movies/music/books on a new phone. Same with iTunes.

@CrissCross87 This is true. But imagine you have one 3DS. If you only use cartridge based games, you've lost one game and a console. Now imagine you have a 3DS with four retail games on it from the eShop. If you're in the USA, that's going to be around $160, plus the cost of the console. That's a bit of dough to lose.

That is kinda funny. And I believe some Android emulators have a search function with a database full of roms, but aren't included in the download. Android doesn't really care whats on their store as long as it's not malicious and it doesn't get complaints.

@Nardar You can't transfer Flipnote Studio to the 3DS.

I think it is still something to be awarded for, but not above physical combat (only term I can think of) medals. While drone piloting would be very mentally painful, you're probably not risking losing limbs or your life. However, drone pilots do get a better look at the detestation they just caused.

I wonder how much the online service will be, and how often the payment reoccurs.

If it is a small amount of figurines (say six figurines) I'd say that's fine. If it is a Skylanders amount of figures, no thank you.

Edit: The game itself is 1800 yen, so $19 USD-ish. I have a feeling they'll come out with 15-20 figurines.

Both good DS/3DS downloads. I already have them both (preorder for KI, and CN last time for Starship Defense). Not as much of a Wii player so I'll pass on the Wii one's. Might have got Tennis if it included the GB link unlockables.

This idea does remind me of VMK slightly as well.

The multiple screen 3d sounds interesting. Considering your eyes have to move to look at both screens, that might make the 3DS's one screen that is 3D a bit less nauseating to look at from another angle.

They need to do this already. If you have an in-store warranty, a lot of times they ship your 3DS off before you get your new one - you can't do a transfer.

I honestly hate FTP. I always avoid those games.

Air Battle Hockey 3D is pretty good unless you're a lefty (the control scheme). They could have easily fixed this... Anyway, it's like a 3d version of the flash minigame "Curve Ball", with special powerups added.

Colors! 3D was originated from Colors!, an amazing homebrew app for the DS. This, along with Hugo, are just a few of the many examples of how homebrew isn't bad. The 3ds hacking that people are so worried about was no more than a "Hello World!" app...

Seeing this review with the huge ad for it on the website... LOL

I'm guessing few people played it long enough to review it in the eShop.
