@Splash_Woman My mother bought me 1 extra Star Wars figure when the movies were "redone". Kept them in the boxes, didn't turn out good they are worth less than I paid for them lmao.
Considering that Humans literally spend 1/3 of their life sleeping. Then thrown in 1/3 of your time @ school or work until the age of retirement. WE LITERALLY "WASTE" ALMOST 1/2 OF OUR LIFETIMES. So yeah GIVE ME EVERY SECOND, I NEED IT!
Welp there goes my money! Somehow the only PHYSICAL "GUIDES" i buy are only Nintendo and only about Zelda...I legit don't read them or use them as a "guide" I just like having big Zelda Books w/ nice Art in it? I guess?
Ahh Nostalgia. I was 3rd or 4th grade? I remember putting the 25 dollars I had saved over 8 months to put this game on "lay a way" (remember that?) at a Toys R Us haha. Was the 1st game I paid with "my money" (well money that had been gifted to me haha).
I remember being about Age 10 and buying the "big box edition" of this game (was the size of a full sized "Game Book" think the Zelda Books in hardback). I still have the book and cartridge but the box is lost forever...oh well.
They need to "Reboot" this Franchise or an Indie DEV needs to make a similar game. This IS SUCH AN AMAZING SET OF GAMES, I played them when they first came out in late highschool/early College. The gameplay is amazing but the artwork was also a masterpiece of the time.
I'm so tempted to buy this..so much Middle School Nostaglia in this game for me. I was born in 1983 so as a kid I learned to Ski, but when Snowboarding became "big" lol, well I was older thus didn't learn it as well as skiing. THIS GAME MADE ME FEEL LIKE I COULD REALLY SNOWBOARD LOL.
I was almost 5, I have a clear memory of being in a Toys R Us and playing it before it came out on a demo version. Toys R Us were like "Gamestops" in terms of they were the best place to go for video games for a period in the 80's and early 90's. God I feel so old now.
Slightly off topic but still ON topic. My first Mario Kart was the OG SNES one. I was in 6th grade when the N64 came out and it was a HUGE LEAP in technology back then. So although I hold deep love for the SNES Mario Kart, the N64 version lined up perfectly with my early teen years, so all the crew would gather at my house after school. 4 player split screen on old TV's ahh those were the days (omg I remember memorizing certain Golden Eye maps so I could just strafe while looking at walls so my friends couldn't look at my tiny box on the TV to figure out where I was LOL).

Re: Every Nintendo Switch 2 Game-Key Card Release
Not real happy about this but I guess being able to resell it or trade in is WAY better than just owning it digitally.
Re: Random: Paul Rudd "Got A Real Kick" Out Of Reuniting With Nintendo For New Commercial
That's Crazy. I can remember that commercial (like it was yesterday) but had no clue it was Paul Rudd!

I wish I could go back in time and stop 18 year old me from throwing away a near Mint Copy of Earthbound in the BIG Box with the BIG Manual.

Re: Sony On Zelda Live-Action Movie: Miyamoto Has A Really "Strong" Vision
I've been waiting 40 years for a live action Zelda Movie. Glad it didn't release in the 90's w/ the Mario Bros one.... PLEASE BE SUPER GOOD!
Re: Random: Sakurai's Game Storage Solutions Are A Sight To Behold

Re: Random: The Simpsons Meets Mario Kart In Bizarre TV Mash-Up
Loved this Episode! I still love The Simpsons being a kid from the late 80's.

Mario is literally tripping on Mushrooms in all his games, I see no problem lol.
