Wait. To get Kid Icarus now, you have to already have registered the 3DS games? You can't see the offer, get the games registered, and then have at it? I'm platinum for the year, so I haven't wanted to register the games just in case the offer didn't come to the US. I figured I could register them on the spot if need be. No?
@pntjr "I got a $20 3DS Points Card, but I scratched the card too hard and I can barely read the numbers. I'm going to call Nintendo tomorrow and see if they can give me my points."
They totally can. Same thing happened to me, and they fixed me up. It scares me to scratch them off now. Anyway, they'll give you a control number or something, and you have to send a picture of the card. Um, you might need a picture of the receipt, too . . . can't quite remember. Try to get that from whomever gave you the card if you can.
They did make a horseshoes game. For some reason, it was called Red Dead Redemption. I think you could lasso cows and do other stuff, but I just played horseshoes.
Why am I the only one to instantly think Paper Mario when I see the Intelligent Systems name? I've been looking forward to this since I heard of it, but I'm waiting until I get some 3DShop cards for Christmas.
Pushmo. Pullblox. "I am the Pushmo robot. Pullbloxing is the answer. Pullbloxing will save the humans from the terrible secret of space."
My problem with this is, I'm afraid I'll spend all my points on games and then Club Nintendo will finally offer something really cool that I will then be unable to afford! <-- Gotta have something to complain about!
Also, I think this is the first step in Nintendo's promise that we would soon be able to buy games for our systems away from our systems.
They farm out the other games to outside developers, but they typically do a great job, too. The sports games are usually tops, particularly when Camelot is on the task. I can't wait for the 3DS Tennis. Also, I do think Intelligent Systems does a good job expanding Mario's personality. It's a simple thing, but it's really delightful how relentlessly upbeat and positive Paper Mario is. He's always got a smile, no matter what is going on. The only time that changes is when he's temporarily shocked by a big boss's appearance, but then it's back to his determined grin.
Nintendo shouldn't have even given them the satisfaction of a response. PETA acts like if you don't like them, you don't like animals. Support something like the ASPCA or the Humane Society instead.
Load up the latest Nintendo 3D Show (or the one right before it) to see how it actually looks on your 3DS. I guess if the later levels are not as good, it got pushed out the door too soon.
I always wished Sega would mash up Streets of Rage and Shinobi: Streets gameplay with Musashi as a selectable.
Nice feature! However, if you can't turn into a statue the artwork can be found misleading. I mean, it definitely shows a Luigi statue!
They've played it, so perhaps they know better than I, but I've read at other sites that there is another, rarer leaf that gives you the statue ability.
I was never interested in the Olympic games until I read about the dream events that take place in classic Mario locales (and some Sonic). That screenshot of the gang in the Epic Yarn world might just have sold a copy of this (the game, not the blue Wii).
@FluttershyGuy Yeah, I always liked that, even with the 3D Zeldas on the consoles, there were still overhead games on the GBA. I enjoyed the DS Zeldas (Spirit Tracks, especially), but I would love to go back to the old style. It would actually look really cool in 3D, like you were looking down into the dungeons Link was in. I think Miyamoto said he's doing a 3D remake of LTTP, so I hope it's kind of that way--still overhead like it was, but now we're looking into a little world.
@StarDust Are you sure you can still download the E3 trailers? I've seen the Green Lantern trailer available recently, but not the E3 games. I was under the impression they'd been removed (and was glad I had saved them--I still watch the Mario ones a lot). I read that the Japanese eShop already removed the TGS trailers, so I plan to grab them and hold on tight. I want every one of the games except Animal Crossing, and maybe that's only because I've never played any iteration.

I know, but I'm hoping it's just around the corner for us!

I got some 3DS cards, Epic Yarn, and Mario/Sonic Winter Olympics.

@JayArr Yeah, but just think: if you're trapped a fourth time, maybe this game will give you some pointers on how to get out of there quicker.
Re: Nintendo Reacts to PETA's Tanooki Campaign
They can't get airborne with their other exaggerated attributed. O.o
Re: Nintendo Reacts to PETA's Tanooki Campaign
Just wait until GTA V, which will apparently have dogs and cats for the first time.

Re: Feature: How Japanese Folklore Inspired Mario’s Tanooki Suit
@tvnewsguy Yes, she's enchanting. I was just catching up on the last two episodes of her show and she is pretty, cute, cool, etc.

@adhe
I'll be the one to say it then. Tanuki are renowned for their prominent scrotum and testicles.
Both are scientific Latin words, but all the same, I hope no-one is offended.
How DARE you, sir? I can't believe you had the balls to mention those . . . THINGS . . . here!
Re: Nano Assault Trailer Shoots to Thrill
Kind of like Trauma Center, but truer to the actual world of medicine.
Re: Minigames, Insects and Giant Swords in Skyward Sword Shots
Gorons, ah yeah. I love those guys. I just hope the creepy ass Ooccoos aren't here.
