Re: Review: Disgaea 5 Complete (Switch)

@NEStalgia yeah, I love That! It's so hard every time I play Fire Emblem, I always mess up and move people and think I can change it like Disgaea. Thankfully Echoes added in that time reverse feature. Very smart, I hope it stays in future games.

@TadpoleSHero that's how they do it here. I hate It, makes it seem corporate and cold. This site could be a fun place with a group of individuals but instead the personality is sucked out of it and all the articles sound the same.

As for this review, the stuff about it being complicated doesn't make sense. The menus work just like in any SRPG and it's even better cause you have flexibility in what you can do. In Fire Emblem, once you move someone somewhere that's it, they're stuck there. In Disgaea you can move someone, try out some options, and if it doesn't work you can send them all the way back to where you moved them from. But I have been playing Disgaea for a very long time now so it could just be wired into my DNA at this point.

I also don't understand everyone complaining about the voice acting, it's the only good part of the story. The characters make the filler feeling plot slightly bearable.

Re: Random: The King of Kong Is Being Adapted into a Stage Musical

@Neon_Blues that's what EVERY story is about! People who can do a thing better than the average person. It doesn't matter what it is. You have an awfully low opinion of games to be someone who plays them too.

This musical is a brilliant idea, I would definitely watch it/listen to it!

Re: An Adventure Time Mashup Pack is Coming to Minecraft

@MatthewHindmarsh you haven't watched many cartoons then. Adventure Time is one of the best there is and laid the groundwork for Steven Universe to exist which is even better. Don't ever watch that, I have a feeling you would not be able to handle the relationships in that one

So excited! I've missed this game. Haven't really put a lot of time into it since the 360 version. Me and my Sis made am amazing town together, that was some of the most fun I've ever had with a game. We're gonna try and top it in the Switch version, maybe reuse some of the cooler ideas we had

Re: Four New ARMS Fighters Were 'Leaked' in Yesterday's Nintendo Direct

I honestly did not expect more characters than what they first showed so I'm really pleasantly surprised by all this. I was already going to buy it but I was set on it being like Splatoon, low on content but a great initial proof of concept with hopefully DLC later. But the more they show the more excited i get, it seems t9 be full of stuff! If there's a story mode I'll be 100% satisfied.

@Jhena: I love your avatar! Tekonkinkreet is one of my favorite movies and one of the best anime films of all time!! I haven't thought about it in a long time so I was quite surprised to see it here! Definitely overdo for a research!

And on topic, I think I'll pick this game up!

Re: Review: Super Bomberman R (Switch)

Great review! Glad you guys liked it I'm loving it so far. But I'm a bit confused on how to get Gems? I used way too many of them trying to beat the first world at a difficulty I guess I wasn't ready for. I played online (won my first match!) but didn't get any Gems:( so do I have to play offline battle mode?

Re: Feature: The Long Journey to Lead the Nintendo Switch Line - CND and TriForce

Popyman

I haven't logged in on this site for ages but I just have to say, I'm disgusted with the amount of negative comments on this website. I thought there would be the same sense of community here as what's been shown in CND and Triforce's videos but I was wrong. Super disapointed, if you people would just watch the videos you would see that they are both awesome dudes that spread positivity in the Nintendo community. That should be celebrated, not mindlessly bashed.

Re: Award Winning Zelda-Themed Short Film, "Escape", To Get Feature Length Follow-Up

Popyman

Pretty moving in parts, but the video game sequences kind of break it. Instead of showing a light hearted journey, we're treated to a girl enjoying cutting up monsters? I know what they were going for, but it sends weird messages to anyone without an idea of what Zelda is. Hopefully the full movie will do a better job of exploring how a kid can find not just an escape but meaning and comfort from a video game. Not just a way to vent frustrations on monsters.
