Super Mario 3D All-Stars is a collection of “updated ports” running on emulation with modded graphics to look better.
Skyward Sword HD is a “HD remaster” with improved visuals and gameplay and nothing “new”.
Sonic Colours Ultimate seems to be a remake cause it’s in a new engine, with new models, new lighting, new gameplay, improved controls, new features, new modes, etc.

Most company’s would love for us to buy and own everything without reading reviews or playing demo’s.
Who suggested Sonic Colours is a “kids” game? It’s an “anybody who wants to play can play” game, like Mario. Also it doesn’t play itself, especially later levels.
Kirby games also aren’t “kids” games and definitely don’t play themselves, the things wrong with the switch game is length & price, not difficulty; it actually has a whole difficulty scale going up to a nightmare difficulty and it also has a separate mode with harder puzzles. It doesn’t even play itself on super easy mode, sure the enemies are useless but the puzzles can’t just be walked through.

I love all the accessibly options! I find playing games I bit hard sometimes, so the extra time, goal locator, slow time, free camera, jump, etc will really help me on the harder levels! This means I’m gonna get A LOT out of this game! Thanks Sega!
Also loving all the other new features like Snapshot, rotten banana mode, Gyro controls, customisation and missions!
I love the classic music too much though, I’m gonna have to purchase that DLC; I’m also not passing up the option to play as a Dreamcast!

I’m sorry, WHAT! Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz WAS NOT the first Monkey Ball game, all the games in this collection are not on Nintendo Switch.

In Japan its Called Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 remake, but english press releases have said its remastered so I'm confused.

Does "DLC also available to buy separately for $4.99" mean just separately from the digital deluxe or separately per pack. My gut is saying they're together for $5 because retro skins, original soundtrack, 10 pink customization items & playable consoles aren't worth the same price.

I literally spent 2 hours on the weekend translating part of the Japanese trailer, Lol. I was successful in finding the title is 1 & 2 remake and also something about “story mode includes all 100 stages”.
I hope that the Japanese title being Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 remake means it’s the two full games, including the classic story mode. But the English trailer is saying it’s 1, 2, & Deluxe?

Sonic was in Banana Blitz without dlc and wasn’t announced right away, it’s probably the same with Sonic & Tails in Banana Mania.

I thought this was common knowledge. Someone data mined the website and found images of Sonic & Tails in the balls. The website also has space for two more characters in the character area.

Glad the digital deluxe goodies can be grabbed separately for people getting the physical like me.
Can’t wait to play as the classic monkeys with the classic music. Also playing as a Dreamcast will be cool.

Pictures of Sonic & Tails in balls was found to be in the website, and they’re not part of the digital deluxe edition so are 99% in the base game on the cart.
I hope the new game mode is available to buy separately, but if the classic music & skins aren’t available separate I won’t cry about it.

The Microsoft store gives more details on the digital deluxe edition. So playable Sonic & Tails aren’t exclusive to it, but you do get playable Dreamcast, Sega Saturn & Game Gear, lol.

This pack adds a playable guardian, a new weapon for link, a new weapon for Zelda, new EX missions on the map and the Ancient lab.
The ancient lab adds challenges displayed like a tree with branches that sprout more branches, have’nt played it yet as it’s 10 pm where I live and I need sleep.

Has anybody seen what the digital deluxe edition comes with…. Classic music… classic characters…. Sega legends pack (this better be just costumes and not the playable Sonic & tails….
And the physical comes with an art book and other items….
So to get everything you need to buy the game twice!
I thought Sega was one of the good companies….

Can anyone tell if this is a “Super Monkey Ball All-Stars”, or “Super Monkey Ball classic levels & minigames compiled into one”; and if it will have the story & cutscenes featured in 2 & Deluxe?

I hope it’s a new Super Monkey Ball Deluxe!* that game was my childhood! I loved the story mode, the levels, the multiplayer & the mini games!
*basically a compilation released including remasters of levels, mini games, etc from 1 & 2, plus extras

They actually already made a collection of stages & mini games from 1 & 2 with Super Monkey Ball Deluxe. It’s literally my childhood, if they bring back all the stages, mini games, mechanics, modes & story from Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (so 1 & 2) then I’m 100% in & hyped!

Basically confirms it then. I’ll only want it if it’s Monkey Ball’s Sonic Mania moment by using classic mechanics or is a remake/remaster of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe (which is a collection of stages, minigames and the story mode of of 1 & 2) cause it’s my childhood.
