@Rizla Sorry to hear you feel that way, it really isnt the case that anyone is being clever with scores either, I'm afraid.

This is just my genuine opinion of Drag x Drive, and I'm sure the Mario Kart review is the same for that writer.

Sure it's a bit of a threadbare game atm, and if you dont like it, well, i can see where you're coming from, but it's still a fun time, with solid mechanics overall, and for a reasonable price-point. I've already had more than 16 quid of fun.

And I'll be honest again, now that the servers are online, I'm actually even more of a fan! Gets you in a game quick and there's loads of folk playing! 🙂

@michellelynn0976 Agrred. A few more modes and some proper lobbies and the core is good enough!

@Jumping_Dead I don't personally think it's ugly. It's clean and functional. I sort of get the idea, but it just doesn't work. Haha. Very bland.

@molkom I can see that some may find helmets (maybe!) a little blurry in docked. Not from resolution though. It doesn't suffer any sort of blurriness like that. Im really not sure what issue, beyond the stuttering I've mentioned - which is on ps5 too - and the lowered framerate, they are having. In handheld especially, its as good as i could have hoped it would be.
Docked takes a little more getting used to, but you do get used to it. And again, im flipping back and forth between this and PS5 Pro, and am fine with it. It could do with patching to fix bugginess in the game itself, but these arent switch issues. And if this is a starting point, they may well be able to patch it up or hit 60 down the line.

Just to note, because Im seeing lots of chat about it, the slight stuttering that occurs on replays, and during some TD celebrations, also occurs on the PS5 in exactly the same way. So I expect it'll be addressed, alongside the server issue.
Again, as I said in the review, they really do have the same issues when it comes to those aspects. It's only the fps drop and the slighr loss in fidelity thats Switch-specific here, really. And the cross-play. Hope this helps!

@Mindofone The Nintendo Pro 2 Switch controller has got a slightly softer action to it on the face buttons, but the 8BitDo isn't far off the same feel. Not mushy and unsatisfying, but still softish. Hope that helps!

@ParrakerriRush As i mention in the review, Mario Party is in the new mode with two new rulesets, so the camera stuff and all the new games with mouse/mic camera functions can be played this way.
